Remarks

Overall college is good in all manner. But college campus is not too large. College bus facility is only for girls. The public transportation to college is always too crowd. College have good canteen facility.

Course Curriculum Overview

Bsc. Food technology is a professional degree course in 3years.it contain 6 semesters. In first four semester physics and chemistry is the complimentary subjects. There are 6 examination for 6 semester. Exam announced and conducted by calicut university.

Placement Experience

Food technology offers government jobs and non government industrial jobs. College support many job oriented short course which enrich our degree. College have a special program to empower students called UPDATE.

College Events

College celebrate all events fantastic. 1) freshers day 2) Union inauguration 3) Onam celebration 4) Arts and sports 5) other department programs like Food day, tourism day etc. All programs are conducts with out any unwanted clash. Each student in our college always become united for college programs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible fee structure. For food technology twenty thousand rupees for 1semester (5month). All self financing college in kerala have approximately same amount of fee structure. For 3years we have to pay 1lakh twenty thousand rupees approximately.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provide post metric scholarship. We want apply in national scholarship portal with our details. Based on merit the scholarship will allot to our bank account. But college not providing E Grant scholarship this scholarship is only for government and aided college students.

Campus Life

College have good and well maintained food technology lab and physics lab. Well supported by tutor and lab assistant. College share sports ground with MES medical college which is half km far from college. Which is well maintained and large. Arts program are conducted in auditorium with all modern facilities.

Hostel Facilities

College not offering hostel facilities. But there are many private hostels in perinthalmanna. Most of them are good infrastructure. They provide food and accommodation it may cost six thousand rupees per month.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students and alumni network are very helpful. They visit our classes and share their experiences. The report job opportunities in their company. They loves college after their studies and most supportive.

Admission

For merit seat we have to apply online in calicut university college admission portal hscap. Choose our college and mention the subject you want to study in the online application. Based on the mark in plustwo you will get allotment in this college. For management seat visit college office and fill applications. Based on marks they will admit.

Faculty

Faculties are best and experienced.well educated. Experienced in teaching in our college. They support in extra cariculam activities. Teaching staff to non teaching staff all are doing there best for maintaining college disciplines and routines.

Likes

My experience at lissah has been mixing of challenges. Psychology depart has supportive teachers and classes is good
Campus is peaceful and it’s so greenery there are opportunities to take part in different academics
I also like that the psychology department has its own lab and practical exposure and Lissah is well known for psychology itself

Dislikes

I feel that there could be more programmes activities and opportunities for students to make college life
Location could feel like quiet and it’s not in town area
Those who prefer more active atmosphere I would not recommend here

I chose bsc psychology because I was interested in understanding human behaviour. The curriculum covers different areas of psychology along with subjects such as major psychology minor statistics and physiology then English mdc . Since I am still in my first year I have only experienced the initial part of course

Excellent college with good academics

Likes

Loved the college campus and academic approach campus is very vast and diverse provide good classroom environment
Teachers are very supportive and friendly to every student there
Management of college doesn’t torture students like in the other colleges

Dislikes

I didnt like the place where college is located that much
I think strictness can be little less in academic
It need to improve in digital teaching methods

I chose bsc psychology because i just love to comfort others and tries to solve their problems our college curriculum makes us not only good in studies but also real life experiences in everyday psychological situations and how to overcome that kind of situation

Balanced campus life and quality of education

Likes

The teachers were suppourtive and explained the subject clearly
The college campus was clean ,peacful and had a good learning atmosphere
The library and other facilities were useful for students and exam preparation

Dislikes

No placement were there so students had to took jobs on their own
Some classrooms and laboratory facilities needed improvement
More extracurricular activities should be arranged

The course curriculum was well structured and covered the fundamental concepts in all details .It included both theoretical and practical learning ,which helped in understanding the subject better .Internal assessment, assignments and semester examinations were conducted regularly.The exams were of moderate difficulty and manageable with regular study.

In our college, along with studies it focus extracurricular activities. Each year definitely some people selected for mg university youth festival and they got prizes in participating items. Kolkali is highlight of our college.

Academic excellence in a beautiful campus

Likes

Academic excellence is there. 90 % of students are merit based admission, those who have achieved 90 and above percentage in 12 th grade. So there is high passing percentage.
Cultural programs are regularly conducted. Don't feel stressed out by studies

Dislikes

Sports activities are not regularly conducted or encouraged
Chemistry lab is not clean, chemicals are not kept correctly

Course Curriculum Overview:

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

The college has a peaceful campus with good infrastructure and facilities

Placement opportunities are comparatively limited for some courses
The campus rules are a bit Street and the rare fewer industry exposure programs
Improvement is needed in providing more internships and career guidance

The raging issue have in our college. And I don't really like that thing in our college.There may seniors get suspension because of it sometimes it's get serious that their parents will come. Its ok if the raging is for some fun and just asking but i
There is a thing that i don't like is that is the juniors can't participate in dance session for programs that occurring in our college. Only seniors are participating for it and also the dressing for some event are controlled by the Seniors. Buuutt
In college facilities there is not that much places for sitting during the intervals. That makes everyone bothered.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The course is available in private college therefore there must be fee. The admission fees for this course is 25000.and for those who take admission by management they want to give 50000.after that there is semester fees, which is 16000 for every semester.Our lab and tuition fees are including in this, exam fee we want to pay on the time of exam. In college competitive our course have a greater fee comparing to others. There is scholarship for the category's like SC, ST. Not know the exact amount of scholarship.

Campus has aesthetic beauty due to the fact that it was built during the British-era
Campus life is full of freedom and enjoyment, and lot of activities to do.

Waste management is poor. Require proper waste management techniques

There was no admission test. Students simply have to apply in order to join on management quota. No cut-off percentage was required. No GD/PI was required to complete after the offer letter.
