A dream college for everyone

Our college is definitely one of the best college in not only in Navi Mumbai but in Maharashtra. Seniors helps juniors in every aspect of their college life. Teachers guides the students in right direction. There are many more opportunities provided by college to students to show their skills in academics as well as extracurricular activities.

Course curriculum is decided by University of Mumbai. The course is quite old and it should be renewed as per requirements of today's world. The course is of 4 years, 2 semesters a year. There are 2 unit tests and a final exam in every semester.

The training and placement cell of the college works hard to provide us good placements. Many IT companies visits the campus regularly. College also provides internships to the SE completed students. I'm persuing SE right now so I don't have any experience yet but will get definitely get internship in coming 6 months.

College celebrates many events around the year. Cognition- It is a 2 day technical event celebrated every year in odd semester. Pre fest games are also played. There is fest launch in which celebrities visits the campus. Techopedia- It is a full day event managed by IEEE cell of the college. In our college, only Electronics and Telecommunication students got the opportunity to conduct Techopedia. TML- Tatva-Moksh-Laksh(TML) is a 3 day event. It consists of Technical, Cultural and Sports events. There is a EDM night during this event. It is conducted every year in even semester. It is one of the biggest fest of Navi Mumbai.

Our college has moderate fees. For TFWS it is around 15,000 For others it is around 1,13,000. We (Economically background classes and SC/ST/OBC) get scholarship from govt. of Maharashtra. I think our college is feasible.

I haven't availed any scholarship facility yet. There are 1-2 scholarships provided by college for exceptionally talented students for their further studies or research. But frankly telling, I didn't know anything more about it.

Our college participates in every activity conducted by University of Mumbai as well as other colleges. We as a student get very good opportunity for developing our extracurricular activities. College encourage us in taking part.

Our college is having a very good network of alumnus and current students. They occasionally visits college campus and give their valuable knowledge and experience to students. Some alumnus who are doing very well are also invited as chief guests for workshops and seminars.

The admission is done through CAP rounds. 2 separate merit lists are prepared on the basis of marks scored in MHT-CET and JEE. According to the rank obtained in final merit list students can apply to various colleges in Maharashtra and CET cell will allocate the college to everyone according to merit list rank. JEE quota is very less i.e. around 15 %. I got admission through JEE quota.

The faculties of the college are very supportive. They help us studies as well as encourage us in participating in technical events, seminars and project competitions. They provide us knowledge that help us to reach out at greater heights.
