An Engineering Institute with basic facilities and faculties

Main focus of the institution is to obtain good reputation. Students are supported throughout their studies, But students are not provided that much freedom. Cellphones are Banned in the campus and during course it should be carefully noted that students should follow military grade discipline.

This college comes under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, which follows semester pattern. There are 8 semester including 3 projects in 2nd, 5th and 8th semesters. One comprehensive exam during the sixth semester which includes all subjects from first to sixth semester. There will be exams at the end of every semester and includes 6 theory papers and 2 practical papers at an average. It is also necessary to obtain minimum credit to pass to the next semester.

Internship is not provided by the college but it is a necessity to do internship and students have to find it themselves. Placements and jobs are comparitively low and hence no stipends to students. Every year industrial visits are carried out from every batch with the support of college and faculties.

Every year various events like, ARTS- AITHIHIA, SPORTS, TECH FEST - ABRAXAS (Every 2years), Department celebrations, Onam celebrations, Kerala piravi, Christmas celebrations, Women's day celebration, Fresher's day, Mechanical Fest, Electrical fest, Electronics fest, Automobile fest, Civil fest, etc

Ranges from expensive to feasible range as some students may get fees within the range of 75000 if they are in the merit list and may get a deducted fees upto 25000 if they fall under fees waiver category. Based on students performance AICTE scolorship is also provided to students. Some students admitted under management may have to pay fees upto 140000

Any student can avail education loan and basic paper works will be done by the college. AICTE scholorships are there. In addition of the students falls under economically weaker section he/she may be obtain concession and also if they studies well Government of Kerala reduces their fees by listing them in fee waiver category.

College have a very good lab facilities with high amount of machineries and appliances for the students to work individually. Sports equipments have shortage and ground do not have space for all sports.

Good hostel facilities which is situated with close proximity to the college. Only 50 meters walk. Gym facilities, swimming pool etc. Food is not that good and tasty but it is acceptable. Both gents and ladies hostel are situated within the campus but is situated 200m apart.

Alumni network is very weak in the college as the college doesn't show any interest in students get together and doesn't keep interest in keeping in touch with the older students. Whereas junior students keeps in touch with seniors and super-seniors to a long extend

12th Mark considered along with KEAM score, which is the engineering entrance conducted by Govt. Of Kerala. These scores are taken into consideration to provide ranks which could result in the admission to this college. Ranks are not necessary to be high for admission.

Average capable faculties, with less experience. Interacts with students freely. Have very few industrial or teaching experience. Even though they help students to build there career through proper interventions at required areas.
