Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology is an educational hub, one of a kind and always ready to impart technical skills among the younger generation. Always tries to reach out to the students. Highly recommended for an overall development of students.

The course curriculum & exam structure was in par with any of the IITs around. Yes it is relevant, research driven and fair with the kind of structure it has embedded. The students get in hand experience with the kinds of lab it has and a chance to work with professors in their projects and indulge themselves with various kinds of research.

Placement record have always been excellent. The packages offered has been upto 22 lakhs per annum. Some of the companies that have visited our college are ACC Cement, TVS, Wells Fargo, Saint Gobain etc. Well the credit goes to the hard work & dedication of entire team of T&P cell.

There are lots of events celebrated in our college and to name some of them are: KAALRAV: The annual fest of our college which gets the participation from different colleges. TEDxSMIT: Held annually with renowned speakers from different fields. TECH ADRISHTA: Festival for the techies to showcase their technical skills. ENTREPRENEURS MEET: Held every year for the budding young entrepreneurs. These were the few, lot's more on the list.

At present it is around 9 to 10 lakhs for a complete 4 year program including hostel accommodation. It might be a little expensive but every single penny is worth it. The kind of attention and education students receive in Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, I have not experienced this in any other institution.

I received a Sikkim Government Quota from the CET conducted by Sikkim Government for the lateral entry students.

The Institution is situated in the land of priestin and mystic beauty, Sikkim. The campus life is awesome with the river Teesta flowing next to the institution. It also comprises of a variety of cultures blending together very well. The labs are advanced equipped with the latest technology. A lot of extracurricular activities takes place in the campus. We have a world class a gymnasium facility, swimming pool, badminton court, basketball court etc.

A strong alumni network has been established. All the seniors and alumni, mentor the freshers in each and every path they want to follow.

I got admission through a CET conducted by Sikkim Government for the lateral entry. It was fortunate for me to get admission in a prestigious institution, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology. The admission process was very simple and easy with the helpful staff of admission around.

Faculties are dedicated, experienced, motivational, friendly, knowledgeable, energetic and always willing to provide support whenever required. They have the ability to understand each student and mould them accordingly. Always motivating the students to excel in all aspects of life.
