Remarks

Postive feed back on college is on its infrastructure. The equipments and the structure that's e do have is really good. Secondly in the faculties without these well qualified and experienced faculties we could not have scored good marks. Then the scholarship the college provides in Fees

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course Curriculum actually consist of every subject especially in first year. Even though I am in CS branch I have learned mechanics, physics, graphics, chemistry, electronics and electrical. Which I feel is not required. Because of after selecting computer science branch I did wish to focus on computer coding and all. But there were many other subjects we had to learn. Speaking on Exam structure Semester Exam conducted by KTU is in a good manner as we have enough time is given to study and overall it's good. But the internal exams conducted by the college is always in tight shedule that everything comes at a singles stretch which makes it harder to score marks.

Placement Experience

4

Placements and job opportunities in the college are good. Companies like Bosch,IBM,Infosys, IBS. Many countries do come every year for placement and almost 80-90% of students do get placed. For getting such high placement percentage college also do put many efforts like by giving aptitude test, mentors to speak on, a sample interview sessions are all arranged in the college.

College Events

1.5

In college we do celebrate Onam which will be celebrated during the festive session everyone would dress in traditional dress and many cultural programs are also organized. Similarly ethinic day is also been celebrated where we do wear traditional dress and many traditional programs will be arranged. Apart from this Arts fest which is conducted two days. Then TechFest which is another event related to technology. Zest is another event which is only for the computer science department.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible for those who studies well. Those who can maintain 7.0 CGPA could get a scholarship. So the fee will be reduced to 8500 per year. To get this either we should have 90% marks in maths at the time of admission or after getting in College by scoring a CGPA of 8.0 you can avail this.

Fees and Financial Aid

The best scholarship that college has provided is on the Fee structure. For example if you have 90% marks in maths at time of admission your fee is reduced to 8500Rs per year from 75000. Or if you can score a CGPA of 8.0 in a semester you can avail this scholarship. This is a really good scheme which make students to study hard and it can be used by the needy people in the society.

Campus Life

4.5

On basis of extracurricular activities our college do lag in many. They don't give much priority for sports, games, arts. Only students who knew to play a particular sport is given a chance to play.Rest of the students are not given a chance. Then the college social life is totally zero. There is nothing to explored. It is basically kind of a school where everything is been monitored by group of people even the attendance, marks etc. And we do even have meetings after exam marks are published similar to school.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are the best. They do help in many ways like if we have any struggle with anything related to academics or college rules. We can approach them to find a solution. Overall they do their best to support their junior students.

Admission

First we completed an online registration form by paying 500rs. Later they published the rank list based on the KEAM(ENTRANCE MARK) and 12th Marks of Physics, Chemistry,Maths. Unfortunately I didn't get the admission at the first time as I didn't get Computer science branch. So they asked me to pay a sum 10000 Rs. in case if a vacant seat comes for CS branch my name shall be considered as per the rank. Later after the KEAM rank was published second allotment of management Quote was open and I got a call from college informing the ur admission is confirmed. Later I visited the college and payed the fees and I submitted the required documents and met the concerned people including principal. And got my admission confirmed.

Faculty

5

Faculties in college are well qualified and experienced. They do make sure that each individual student is able to follow the class without any difficult. They even do take remedial class after college to those students whom they feel need help to study. All the faculties are so friendly and supportive in all cases.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Placements are really good. Since college is related to ISRO maximum students with cgpa above than 7 are elligible for ISRO interviews and are selected based on their performance. Apart from ISRO many campanies like Texas Instruments, UTS, Mercedez , also come here for recruuitment. Many also opt for M.tech and MBA after graduation

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.
