Remarks

There are no negative remarks on our college. The positive remarks are as follows:- 1. Senior junior relationship is at the top 2. Every stanleans have Stanley spirit and show affection towards Stanley till the end making others jealous of Stanley spirit.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

MBBS is a life saving course. Very tough to study five and half years and get placed in government hospitals. Since it is a life saving course, there should be full attention and continuous practice in practicals to excel.

Placement Experience

5

Placement in government hospitals is done by writing government examination. General practice can be done in private hospitals and other than that normal practice can be done by having clinic. The college provides internship facility and the stipend given is almost 13k.

College Events

5

There are two major events in our collegeand several other minor events. The main two events are euphoria and stanlea. Euphoria is a intracultural event conducted for medical College all over sounth India. It's conducted by arts secretary of college council. Stanlea is sports fest conducted by sporst secretary of college council.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is very cheap in government medical colleges. Fee structure is according to different cast. Fees is very feasible and does not exceed 13000 annually. Apart from the college fees hostel and mess fees should be paid. That does not exceed 5000 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not applied any loan or scholarship since I am not eligible. College fees scholarship can be availed under certain conditions which are mainly decided upon parents annual income. The annual income must be less than two lacs. Other than that hostel fees scholarship is given by alumni foundation under same criteria.

Campus Life

4.5

Extracurricular activities include NCC, Rotaract club, green hands( to develop greener environment). Apart from it students are free to choose what sport they require to choose. Coach are there for every game. Stan boots and lakshaya for dance and stanbeats for band.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes, I have opted for hostel facility. Previously the hostel was almost 60 yrs old and with poor infrastructure. But now new hostel was built with greater facilities including indoor play area and study hall.

Alumni/Alumna

Stanley has a wast network of alumini association. Not only in India but also in foreign countries our stanley alumini association is still communicating and do the needy for the students and college development. The senior junior relationship is the best compared to other medical Colleges. That's where the Stanley spirit comes from.

Admission

Prepared for national eligibility cum entrance test (NEET) examination and got selected to Stanley medical College in counselling through merit. Counselling process consist of verification of nativity andoriginal documents.

Faculty

5

Faculty here is very experienced and of high class knowledge. They take care of each and every student by allotting tutors for students and assess them regularly after each internals. Professor's are very student friendly

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
