Remarks

In conclusion, the college may be come out to be a good place/institute if you are someone who is coming from a very poor family background and from a rural area where the education was not so good. But for people with a little higher standard of living or the one who have gained their school Education from a well-known school might not be able to get a good amount of knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

I am studying Bachelor's of Science with Bio stream and Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as my main subjects, and Hindi and English as foundation subjects. Also, we have to study Environmental Studies in 1st year and whose exam can be be given in either of the 3 year. For my course, and according to me, the curriculum is very vast which usually does not get completed till the exams date. My course is a yearly couse that is the exams occur only at the end of the academic year and the exams go for about 2 months with practical included. Gap of about minimum 5-6 days is given between 2 exams. Each paper and practical exam is of 50 marks, to solve it 3hours time limit is given. The question paper contains 10 marks of MCQs and the rest 40 marks of Very Short, Short and Long Type of questions.

Placement Experience

0.5

There are no placements provided by the college but a student who has completed his/her Post Graduate degree might get a teaching job opportunity, which I don't have much information about. Overall no such job opportunity or placements are provided by the college.

College Events

2

No such fests or events are held in the college except for an Annual function kind of thing in which all the students who want to show their talents like singing, dancing, instrument playing etc participate and at the end a chief guest come and provide medals to the winners of the competitions held one day before the annual function or during the academic year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it is a government college and that too a low maintenance one so, it's fee structure is very much feasible. It was just around Three thousands INR for my each year of my three year bachelor's course.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no scholarships given by my college (as far as I know) as the fee structure is very much affordable. But there are some facilities for students who have achieved medals in sports. Maybe the topper students get some kind of scholarship.

Campus Life

1

The lab faculty is way worse, sometimes they broke / lost some specimens or sometimes they don't even come to college to conduct our practicals. In conclusion, the faculty is very lazy and not at all involved with the students. Also, the Library system and faculty is the worst and the laziest people ever, it is better to buy a book then to get it issued from the library. They don't let students to see and choose the book from the available books. The sports faculty is also not so good, they just want students to participate just to increase the crowd/the number of participants from there college. The notices about anything such as some project work or competition or other extra curricular activities is not properly announced/ circulated, it mostly reach to that students only who have contacts with the teacher while other those who are completely new may don't even get to know about anything.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are somewhat helpful and are mostly likely to be helping if you have mutual friends with them or if you know them from somewhere otherwise they are not very helping. There is not much interaction held between the seniors and the juniors.

Admission

In general the admission process of college is through one's class 12th percentage. The admission process is quite simple that is, 1 - You have to fill a form (available only in Hindi) for INR 10 only. 2 - Submit the form with all the documents required. 3 - Wait for the merit lists to come out. Four merits are put out for each course. 4. If your name appears in any of the four merit lists then, go to the office and pay the fees and just like that you are admitted to the college. It seems so simple but in reality it is ver much time taking and irritating, due to the poor management and the laziness of the staff. No online/computer based work is done. Also, till the 4th merit lists comes out a month is has passed. If your name does not appear in any of the lists then there is an open councelling held after about a month where on the basis of your caste/ approach to the college faculty you can get admission.

Faculty

1

The faculty is very bad, they just want themselves to be free from the blame that they've not completed the syllabus (which they any do not complete) so, they rush with the course without seeing if the students are listening or are they being attentive etc. They just come and rant and go back to there office to do gossips and eat Samosas. But not there fault also, as how a single person can handle a class with strength of 60 + students. No clear notes or even letures are given. Some teachers don't even come to class for 2 -3 months and just tell us to write down our names in a paper for attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to take this course was not my decision so everything that I know now was after I got my admission. I would say it doesn't prepare you much and unless and until you yourself are not eager to learn and insist on doing things yourself you wouldn't learn anything here. So if you really want to learn you should always try and ask teachers for assistance and always be very active during classes or anything going on the department.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Generally by opting mathematics we can pursue it for teaching or research purpose. I had interest in mathematics starting from my childhood so I took mathematics as my subject for graduation. The real world application thaught in this curriculum is equal to zero . We were unable to compare it to the real world application. Teachers could improve their teaching style they teach like they just come and write on the green board repeat it twice if we are unable to get it they ask to come personally to clear it maybe to save time . We generally have semester of 6 months out of which 1-2 months vacation we leaves 4.5 months in which we have give one CT of 15 marks after one months of classes . In CT 2 we have to submit assignment although it depends upon the professor. after 3.5 months of classes we are to give our end Sem examination. Its generally easy to moderate to pass the exams .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course fees is cheaper in this college as compared to other colleges. They provide quality education with low fees which inspired me to join this college. But the college teachers keep changing frequently after some months of teaching which is very annoying here.Experienced teachers are needed right now in college who provide education without leaving college after some months. There is lab but there is no proper functional lab instruments and there is always shortage of lab equipments and chemicals which are needed for the practicals,so it needs to be fixed for better experimental experience. The timing of annual exam is 3hours per subject. The difficulty of the examination is moderate, everyone can pass the exam by one day hardwork. The marks depend on mainly how much pages are filled, the marks are given according to it.Some below average students fails the exam after having easy exam.
