Course Curriculum Overview

4

The exam structure is good but the course curriculum has to be improved a bit but better then the other private colleges I guess. Faculties here motivates the students to do research and boost their cv an all. They help students to decide the carrier and choose the right path.

Placement Experience

3

Average I guess, the companies coming here for placement also give internship offers. Companies like Microsoft, Dell, Shell, Ericson's, Wipro, Capgemini and other renowned companies come here for placements.

College Events

3

Kaalrav college cultural fest. It is one of the biggest fests in the northeast. Technical fest, Sports fest, Departmental fest and lots of events are organised on the basis of the festivals. Different events such as Holi, Diwali, Bihu and other festivals are organised here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I joined the college it was around 2,50,000 for 1st year and currently, it is more than 3,00,000 lakh per year. Fee structure includes wifi cost, during 1st year we are provided with laptops which are already included in the fee structure. Gym and swimming facilities are charged separately.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not taken any loan or did get any scholarship, but yes it's easy to get education loan and college helps the students providing the same.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is ok, as u don't have much inside the campus and outside as well. Good for studies. The gender ratio is about 4:1 for boys: girls. The sports complex is there which includes table tennis, Gym, snooker, Swimming pool, badminton, squash, basketball etc. All shorts of competition are organised from Hackathon to competitive coding and robotics, MUN etc. All are organised well are good to participate.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are really helpful. People are eager to help us around and provide the necessary requirements.

Admission

Through JEE mains results. Applied manually by going to visit the campus. Filled the required form and submitted the required documents etc. The admission process is easy compared to other colleges. The teacher helps us to choose the right brach for us and help us in the entire procedure.

Faculty

3.5

Calling them, through email. I can say that they are really easy to assess and faculties are extremely helpful and friendly in nature. You can call them at midnight also if needed. They open labs at night if you have your projects going on. Faculties are living inside the campus and have separate facilities.

I do not have much idea about this field. If I'm not wrong internships begin from 2nd to 3rd year itself, and placements from 4th year. The avergae package here is around 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is 56 LPA. That'll be all from side.
