Overall, this college is like a dream college in India. There is so much fun you can have in this college along with so much knowledge. It is like an ocean where there is no end. You should be swimming.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very flexible here. We have the freedom to choose the course and faculties. But have to complete all the required credits to get a degree. There will be 2 internal exams called CAT1, CAT2, and the final exam. CAT 1 is closed book and counts 15%. CAT2 is an open book exam and is for 15%. Digital assignments are for 30% and the final exam is for 40%. And grades are given relatively.
Placement Experience
Our college provides 100% placements. Yes, they do provide internships on campus and off-campus. I have not applied for placements yet. I will be applying in the next year. Many seniors got placed internships and full time.
College Events
There are many events which will be celebrated here. Everyday some or other event will be happening. There are two main feats in our college. One is a technical fest called ad Gravitas and another one is riveria.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure depends on the percentage you got in your 12th or in the entrance examination. There will many categories while counseling. The more percentage or score you get, the less fee you will have to pay.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college provides scholarships too. For merit students, if they topped in the entrance exam, they will be getting a 100% scholarship. Topper of states gets a 100% scholarship. Ranks between 2 and 100 in entrance exams get 50% scholarship. They are also other scholarships which provide 10000 per semester for poor students
Campus Life
There are many extracurricular activities at our college that nobody can say no to join. There are many clubs. Dance club, music club, comedy club, art club, IEEE, toast monsters, NGO s. Based on students' interests, they can join any club.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the alumni network and senior students are very helpful. They will be there for us at every moment. They clarify all the doubts we have and they guide us to success. They also play a very important role in our life at our college other than our friends and faculties
Admission
At Vit university Vellore there are many branches. For bachelor's courses, they have to write an entrance examination. For the course I have joined, they will be considered 12th standard grade. The first score will be ranked 1st and they go first for the counseling and select the campuses they like ( Vellore, Chennai, etc). Thus total there will be 600 seats in Vellore, 600 seats in other campuses.
Faculty
All the faculty are very good at teaching and have knowledge of their subjects. They are very friendly and helpful with everything. They take us on industrial visits too, to gain knowledge practically not only theoretically.
