Remarks

You will have to study everything on your own. Teachers are helpful if u ask them something. Far away from big cities. Very competitive environment. Swimming pool is not so big. Fests are very good of losing stress.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is balanced. 2 senesters per year. Mid sems and comprehensive exams are there. Quizzes are taken in between these exams as a part if regular evaluation. Attendance is not compulsory.

Placement Experience

Placements are the best in class. Being the top private institute in the country that provides world class education placements are really nice and at par with the class and better than some IITs. It also provides internships.

College Events

Every festival is celebrated. Sports meet is called BOSM. Players from all over country come. Professional shows take place for students. Then comes the best college fest after mood indigo, the OASIS. it is a cultural fest. Then there is a technical fest called apogee in february

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very expensive. It costs approx 5 lakhs per annum. for economically backward students merit cum need scholarship can be availed. Student loans are available. Most of the students are from rich households.

Fees and Financial Aid

student loans are available without collateral. For students whose parents earn less than 8 lpa there is a provision of merit cum need scholarship. It is awarded based on your performance and you have to give proof.

Campus Life

Sports facilities are really good. Every hostel has its own badminton and volleyball court. Football ground is common. Basketball is also played. Labs staff is good. Very good equipments. Incharges of lab are somewhat reluctant in helping.

Hostel Facilities

not so good. New hostels are good. Girls hostel is also old. Single rooms available from 2nd and 3rd year only. Really depends on your luck to get single rooms. Classrooms are aurconditioned. Eateries are open till 2 AM in night.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful here they do everything they can to help juniors. It has a very wide alumni network. ranging from US UK UAE to Australia. They visit the campus and organise talks fir the benefit of students.

Admission

Fill the form online.fix the schedule of online test. Take the test you get the marks instantly. Cutoff for different subjects are displayed later. Fill the preference. Deposit admission fee. Visit campus during august.

Faculty

Faculty are helpful. Everyone is a research scholar with PHD. Some of them are really helpful but others are very mean. They like to treat students like they are their staff. But tgat also helps im development of a student.

A great college for the fees.

Placement Experience:

For Master's students, they can start appearing for placement as soon as starting their 2nd Semester. There are lots of opportunities for students to grab a good placement. The average package for Master's can be 6-8LPA while the highest placement last year was 54LPA

Course Curriculum Overview:

- The course curriculum was specifically based on giving more knowledge and insights about the course I chose. I went onto specialization and chose microbiology and learnt that it has various other fields because of the curriculum. - The course and lab prepares well for the real-world applications. - There should have been more hands-on experience with some lab equipments and some teachers should have given more guidance to the students. - Frequency of exams and difficulty level was good. No complaints about that.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement commity is good, there is a dedicated department for campus placement for students depending upon the course you chose if you take Btech, Mtech or MCA its good but if you take M.Sc you have to struggle for placement and even if you get placement you hace to struggle with the package.

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The admission process of my college includes an eligibility test, BITSAT, the scores of which determine admission into thsi college. I had appeared for the test in PCB subjects instead of PCM. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey.
