Course Curriculum Overview
Thats varies department to department, most of the teachers are helpful but one may face problem if practical file are not submitted on time and one have to attend classes. Exam under part system are once a year, 1st -Selection test. Then University exam. I CBCS system, this happens twice a year - semester wise.
College Events
I have not celebrated anything in my college so far. But every year a picnic trip is organised by the students and teachers. Generally by physics department. college also organises sports event once a year and Saraswati Puja is a must.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible, it is a government facilated college so the fees are quite low compared to private colleges. The practical fees are fair. Education fees are low. Computer & development fees are good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, Kannashee by west bengal government. I don't think the college have any scholarships of its own but it give out some consession form using which students can get reduced fare on government transport.
Campus Life
There are laboratories in all science departments. Physics department. Some instruments are in good condition but some are not even working. They bring out all the working instruments at the time of exam. Chemistry dept, I have heard it good. I don't know about zoology lab. Computer lab is fine
Hostel Facilities
No, the college does offer any hostels or PGs(paying guest) but the students who stays in hostels and PGs, I have heard from them, Its kinda a 12 feet by 10 feet room with a single bed and a table.
Alumni/Alumna
Some seniora are helpful some are not. But one should be friendly. Mostly those i have interacted with are very friendly and as well as helpful, they also help to screw the teachers if anyone is facing a problem with that teacher. They are the one who organise thing during the events
Admission
I applied after the 12th result got out. After a few days the college put the merit list of the selected students according to marks.then we have to go to the college for verification of documents on specified date and the fees are to be deposited in bank
