CGPET - rank 617this is top college in chhattisgarh with good placements. Only you have to get good rank to get into this college no as such interview process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Cousre was decided by our unviersity CSVTU which is same for all engineering colleges in chhattisgarh. Overall couser pattern was good. Courses were revised. On 1st two semester it was common for all students so that they get basic ideas.

No internship provide in this college.

Placement Experience

Out of 700 which were eligible for placements 350 were placed. Mostly mncs like TCS, cognizant, accenture visits this college with avg package of 3.5lpa.

Campus Life

Its Co-ed college with around 50 50 ratio. And hostel parties were organized and labs of college are very good and it has largest central library. No politics, no religious issues or sexual orientation problem.

Exam Structure

Overall exam sturcutre is good .You will have exams in semesters ie every 6 months. And 2 tests within that 6 months. No hectic day. It was enjoyable.

Faculty

Faculties of the colleges are good. All are masters in there field and some of them also pursuded doctorates. Every faculties has good teacing experience and very helping in nature.

The aspects which i really felt good was their fees of the btech is very low compare to other colleges and they provide decent placement . Like they should really work to teach more tech to cse students instead of theory.

Truth about NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is so good as per the stats . Like students are eligible for placements from there 7th sem . No. Of companies visited is around 200 (guess). Offers made 600(guess) . Highest package is 65 lpa , and average package is 9 lpa there are major two roles one is core engineering get role and other is non core data analyst role . 86 % students are placed last year . My plan is to get good placements from college itself and then after experience I will go for MBA or higher studies .
