Course Curriculum Overview

0.5

Teacher incharge is very bad. He doesn't took any dicission itself. Head staff of college office took every dicitions. they don't listen to students and they cant understand a student's problem. They took un-official charge to do help! they cheat us! and when we complain to teacher incharge, he doesn't take any step. The office is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. but also when we go to at 10 a.m they tell us to come next day. But many student are coming from so long distance. They also returned. Its actually girls college but the boy student of Surendranath Boys college are all time disturbing us.

College Events

0.5

In our college there have no any placement or job opportunities. So nothing to offer.

Fee Structure And Facilities

TMCP gives us freshers party and also theirs rival SFI gives us another freshers party. Rabindra Jayanti, Saraswati puja, Journalism seminar etc. whole year, all days they give any kind of technical or cultural festivals.

Fees and Financial Aid

There have no any hostel or mess. Only have canteen.Food is healthy and at reasonable price and hygienic.

Campus Life

2.5

Yes, we have good scholarship opportunities. We want to take it. But our teacher-in-charge don't help us to take part.

Alumni/Alumna

We have only Geography lab. It is in good condition. Sometime college authority held debate competition on spiritual/politics/economical/religious topics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

The students become eligible for placements from the third year itself, the Final year. The details about the placements are not known to other students as such but the packages available are per the market needs. I plan to complete my M.A. after getting my Bachelors' degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.
