Remarks

The university makes every possible step to make it's students stand out and get the best but the crowd of the college doesn't care that much and it is reflected in my review. I might sound rude here, so I apologize in prior. The background that people come from here isn't very well to do and they don't acknowledge and value the services they are being provided, and that's the case with about 95% of the students here.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I took B.Tech Electronics & Communication and the course is very well planned and not very research-oriented. The exams are easy and what's taught is asked, nothing more, nothing less. Talking about the labs, it is decent as compared to other government engineering colleges and the university spends quite a lot of tech here.

Placement Experience

2

The college definitely tries it's best to provide the best placements but the current situation is that it's improving every year but the average placement is still 4 to 5 LPA which after spending 10 to 12 lakhs is not a very good investment. Recently, Amazon and Microsoft provided the highest packages of 9 & 8 LPA which are good.

College Events

1

The events in the college are just a source of making money for seniors. We do celebrate festivals and have events but you have to pay in order to be a part of the event happening in your college. WOW! Just typical engineering college things. The only event I attended was a seminar which had Adarsh Tiwari, a great singer and Aman Dhattarwal. Paid 100 bucks to watch him and the only thing I don't mind paying for. Also, on teachers day we paid 50 bucks each to get a cake for our teachers but only a few of our teachers came and not everyone could eat the cake as my classmates were busy playing with it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is as follows : Since most of you might want to go for B.Tech (CS), here's the fee structure - BRANCH: Data Analytics, Cloud computing, Cyber Security & Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning 1st Year : 1,93,000/- 2nd Year : 1,96,000/- 3rd Year : 1,99,000/- 4th Year : 2,02,000/- (This is only the academic fee & if you are looking for hostel, you have to pay 32000/- for mess and around 60000/- for accommodation per year. Security charges is 10000/- which is refundable once you graduate.)

Fees and Financial Aid

I have domicile of Delhi so I wasn't eligible for a scholarship and neither I took a loan to complete my education.

Campus Life

3

Situated in Mathura, the college lies in the middle of nowhere and the nearest city is Agra which has theatres and some good food if you want to eat KFC or Burger King. Campus life is good only if you're good looking, have a playboy kind of personality and have a lot of time to roam around. The gender ratio is very poor as there aren't many girls in the college comparing to the number of males we have. Approximately it would be around

Hostel Facilities

1.5

If you are looking for a hostel, you have to pay 32000/- for mess and around 60000/- for accommodation per year. This might increase this year in 2020 but won't be more than 62 or 65k per annum. Then, if you want to opt for double or triple rooms, the accommodation price goes down but the mess charges remain the same. If you take a single room, you have to pay around 60 to 65k. AC Hostels aren't available for first year students but you can avail this facility in second year.

Alumni/Alumna

No. We don't have much recognizable alumni and the seniors just beg for respect here. They come to your class in the middle of a lecture, ask you all to stand up and wish them and treat them with respect even if they haven't done anything worth being respected. They are helpful but only to some extent. They don't provide you with notes or anything. But for substances, they help you fetch the best quality.

Admission

I took an entrance test in their Noida HQ and I cleared it in one shot. It wasn't very difficult as they have to fill the maximum number of students, so it was quite easy. One more thing, the faculty also told me if I need his help I can contact him to get some of my answers correct. A kind of cheating basically but didn't need him as I submitted within 2 hours.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is neutral in my opinion. Some of the teachers are exceptionally great and some are just tilted by students for not attending the lectures and things. The lab faculties are the worst in my opinion. Our physics and professor kept sleeping during the whole lecture and our electronics professor would go out for a minute to attend a call but won't come back until the lab is over.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.
