Remarks

LOOK, this college have very good, friendly and we'll qualified staff a student can take so much benefits from them but this college need to improve their infrastructure i mean need to improve their building and all that overall. This College is Very good so with a quote by a one of the legend of history i'm going to finish this review that "Strive for progress, not perfection.”

Course Curriculum Overview

4

This COLLEGE IS UNDER THE JAMMU UNIVERSITY AND PROVIDE CBCS SYSTEM WHICH I THINK IS VERY GOOD and also there are good facilities for sport students but most important thing about this colege is that they have very good and qualified staff

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements, I think they don't provide any type of internship because there are so many friends of mine who cleared this college with very good marks and they got no job opportunity from this management system of College.

College Events

2.5

REPUBLIC DAY SYMPOSIUM DEBATE ABOUT TOPICS NSS DAY NCC DAY INDEPENDENCE DAY GANDHI JAYANTI Teachers Day Earth Day Price Distribution ceremony AND so many others events are celebrated in this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, i mean the fee structure of this college is very good i think both rich and poor both can effort that much amount of money this college is pocket friendly and i guess that is very sweet of govt. Colleges

Fees and Financial Aid

NOT AT ALL i don't know about any scholarship in this college but wait there is one scholarship that if you got good marks in 12th then probably they will give you free education and about others i don't know about that

Campus Life

3

They have very good lab specialist specially physics lab specialist they teach us in every single way they can if a student wants to learn something he/she can get benefits from them also GDC KATHUA IS famous for sport so there is no comparison not that

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel of this college are like any other hostel of govt. College i.e. they are good for living but if you need real comfort you can take private rooms but i think you can get better education only if you have ability of sacrifice if you want to get good education then you have to sacrifice comfort.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are very good and all my seniors are my good friends so it doesn't matter either they are helpful or not the only thing that matters a lot is that you need to give your best in every field and if not then no college can do nothing for you

Admission

I just went there and I filled my name there for college entry and then they declared merit list after when i found my name in merit list i took admission form and filled it and then i submitted it to the college administration and done

Faculty

4.5

Faculty about what . Stream or management if u mean about faculty of stream then it provides 3 faculties Faculty of Arts Faculty of Science Faculty of Commerce And If you mean about management Then they have PROFESSORS AS WELL AS ASST. PROF. AS WELL AS LECTURERS WHO ARE IN LEARNING STAGE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture subject is practical oriented and you will enjoy visiting agriculture fields and that was the sole reason i choose this field. The curriculum is well designed and you will not feel any problem while helping farmers in real world.. Improvement needed in practical work i.e more practical work should be done.

The practical nature of this course dragged me to choose this course. The course is well designed to solve the every day's problem. The practical portion should be enhanced more to inculcate practical knowledge. In a year 4 exams are conducted at an interval of 3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course includes subjects that are beneficial for me. For example: Gender and Society – teaches me about society’s orthodox traditions and norms. Indian Knowledge System – explains how India’s knowledge has evolved over time. Literature – provides an overview of English literature, excluding stories and poems, and focuses only on the parts that are useful for us. Environmental Studies – gives knowledge about our surroundings, including living and non-living things. Political Science – a systematic study of the structure and behavior of the state and political institutions. Logical Reasoning – the best part of the course, very useful for our knowledge as well as civil services and defense exams. Law and Society – will help me in my further studies in law. Personally, the two specific subjects that made me choose this course were Law and Society and Logical Reasoning, because these subjects are rarely available elsewhere and will be very beneficial for me. The teachers are good at teaching, but there is a need to make changes in the teaching methods. As of now, there are only blackboards or whiteboards, whereas instead there should be smart panels, which would make learning more interactive and keep students engaged. Exams are held about two months after the semester begins — first internals and then externals. There is generally a two-month gap between the two. I believe the difficulty level depends on how deeply we understand the concepts and how well we prepare, although overall the difficulty is usually easy to moderate.

The college curriculum was quite nice and i would rate it from good to very good, The syllabus is really good and covers both theoretical foundationand practical applications, which make it suitable for students aiming for industry roles or higher studies Areas of improvement include updating some subjectsmore frequently to meet the industry needs.Teaching methods could also be improved by using more interactive sessions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.
