No entrance exam was there for this course. The college is very active in terms of various activities. got a excellent placement for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

it was a 3 years degree course. BSc. in hotel management. with all the subjects related to hospitality, law, etc. it gave many students a chance to work in abroad as well.

Internships Opportunities

internship were in 5 star, 4 star, 3 star hotels. basic stipend was Rs.1000/-.we have worked in all departments of hotel. It was for 6 months. where the project reports would be there.Sun n sand, royal orchids, marriott, taj, etc

Placement Experience

placements were excellent. students placed in Hyatt, Taj, Radisson, Marriott, Holiday inn, sun n sand, Packages offered was not much.

there were freeship/ schorship for OBC, SC/ST, etc except open class.most of them received cheques from the college after the graduation.

Hostel Facilities

I stay with my family. have no clue about hostel . they didnt provide hostel facility. most of them choose to stay with PG, relatives, or managed there own accomodation

Exam Structure

It was neither hectic nor chilled out.we were having time to study for ours exams and practicals. sometimes it was hectic. completion of journals, etc

Faculty

faculties is very much knowledgeable. best of the faculties are there in this college who has experience in abroad, cruise lines,etc. and are always helpful.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester we are eligible for campus placement. Companies like ihcl, ihg, eih, the Hyatt and Hilton the etc. All most ever students gets a placement via college. Many of the students have plans like to do MBA, MSc or to get into any MT program of any company. MT program is a management training program offered by the company which allows you previllage of getting promoted to managers level in span of two years. It is paid program and they have examination as well. Minimum package offered by any company is 3 lacks per year.

Aissms HMCT- A blissful experience assured

Aissms college of catering technology and hotel management is a perfect place to learn about the hotel etiquettes and the academic education that they provide. They offer a huge amount of options of subjects to choose from and also provide you with abroad/domestic industrial training in the 5th semester. Overall an excellent college. Cons about the college can be that they can do better in the selection of students for the admission. Instead of choosing through quota seats, they can give preferences to open category students who excel with their merit. This way the quality of education also improves and they stand a chance to make their college's public image a whole lot better.
