Remarks

Nshm is in all total a good college. It shapes a student in every aspect. It's just that since it's a private college, it should look into its fee structure. So that, it's easily accessible for all.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is good, quite vibrating. Student can learn a lot about different activities , which is really going to help them in the professional world. We have a regular test on every month , to analyze how much are we developing and concentrating in every class . Rather than this, we have semester system examination.

Placement Experience

4

Yes, the college provides internship not throughout but only after 5th semester. The stipend is nearly about ?3000. Once done with internship, campusing starts. Various media companies come for placement.

College Events

4.5

Nshm College is known for its activities throughout the year. We conduct a lot of events. Photography competition , Short film festival, International conference, Alpana competition, language workshop, music and dance workshop, calligraphy workshop, various seminars. Our college hold two fests and students do participate a lot and also enjoy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible.but obviously it varies from person to person. For most of the bachelor degree course , it's around 35000 for the total course . They have facility for paying the free Semester wise or by down payment .

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides a scholarship . But yeh the cut and off percentage differs from year to year. If someone have a good percentage in his/her 12.he/she gets a scholarship. Like I got a scholarship of 50,000 and this I need to pay a bit less amount .

Campus Life

4.5

The labs are good. The labs have modern equipments. We are provided Mac lab for our work. As for extra curricular activities, we have dance called, theatre class, music class and also language classes . Mainly men are much more inclined towards sports and they have football and cricket team.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel is safe. It's absolutely a ragging free area. We don't have AC facility in our room. But ok, it's manageable. It's clean, the hoyse staff keeps the floor and washroom clean. Food is healthy and good. We have two blocks in the same campus. One wing is for girls and the other for boys. All total the hostel has a space to hold 120 students altogether.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are really helpful people . They try their best to guide us. We often disturb them with our bunch of questions. They are our torch bearer. Seniors are quite cool and chilled out. We do even hangout with them .

Admission

I got to know about my college from advertisement in a magazine. Then, I gave an admission test and I did pretty well in that. After somedays, I got a call from the college that I am selected. Even my ISC percentage was good enough to get into my college.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are really experienced person in respective fields. They are too cool with the students. They know when to be strict and when to have chit-chats with students. They are caring and any problem they will really help out the students.

I currently in 2nd year, so I don't have much idea about placements that college offers. But have a brief idea on the besis of the seniors. My collage provides internships, and the average package is also good. From the sixth semester one can become eligible for internships. My plan is to study further, Msc and PhD.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
