Remarks
Overall college is good and can improve and has improved a lot since I left, no doubt. Management is still not up to the mark, they take huge bus fees around 20K yearly and still students have to stand in bus as seats are not available.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mumbai University Bachelor's of Engineering is a 4 year course, which has 8 semisters and 4 unit tests per year, for first year the curriculum is same for all Engineering branches and later changes as per stream
Placement Experience
Our college does provide internship, but I haven't received any form college TPO, also when I got one using outsource I was denied as they said it will affect attendance. Placements are satisfactory but it again depends on students how they crack process.
College Events
Freshers, Tantroutsav, VYRO, Farewell, Jr VYRO, and few more events are organized by college, also blood donation camps are arranged. VYRO event is done on a large scale and is a two day event which ia technical fest of college, IETE and ICSCET are also arranged for paper presentations and journal publication.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is expensive, total year fee is around 1.5L and if you doesn't belong to any minority you will spend around 6 L in four years, ROI is less when compared to placements. If you belong to below poverty line then entire course fee is under 2 L
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't have idea if they provide loan facility. however installment pattern is available. I haven't heard about scholarships also.
Campus Life
Sports are organized for 3-4 days, it is war between different streams of students, but we all enjoy it. There is a chemistry lab, physics lab, several computer labs and some las for civil and electronics department
Alumni/Alumna
Yes we were in touch with some seniors, yes they were helpful during our final year project s and now we have a group of our batch.now we are only connected with alumni on social media, Actually much help is not required from seniors as professors are quite helpful
Admission
Through CAP round, this process is followed by DTE Maharashtra, student should have passed state board 10 exam or 12 or diploma and should clear entrance exam, then based on students application they are allocated colleges
Faculty
Faculties for Computer Engineering strem are very good, they are knowledgeable in their respective domains and are also aware about latest technologies, they help us whenever necessary and also encourage us to participate in extra curricular activities.
