Remarks

Transportation other than college bus is a problem. Canteen not upto the mark. College library was little bit ok type. So many good engineers are passing out every year. Alumni is very strong. Faculty members are excellent in all manner

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is based on apj abdul kalam technological university. Examination based on ktu examination structure. There will be two exam season in every year. Students will get two chance in every year to pass the exam

Placement Experience

Internships are mandatory in ktu curriculum. There fore students will get internship oppertunity at malabar college of engineering and technology. Placements are only 50-60percentage. For mtech students there is stipend available

College Events

There are various activities and events happening in every year at malabar college of engineering and technology. Arts festival college day annual sports meet tech fest etc are some of the events happening in our college

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structures are set by government agencies. Even though the malabr college of engineering is a self finance education institute it follows fees structure set by government of kerala.there are many scholarship available

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarship schemes available for students of malabar college of engineering and technology. Some examples are poor student's scholarship scheme. You have to submit income proof of your guardian in addition to excellent academic recodrs. If you fail in semester exam your scholorship may get cancel

Campus Life

Lab facilities are must for engineering. All types are well set up and well equipped at malabar college of engineering and technology. Sports activities takes place annually. We have a School cricket team there which won many many matches and tournaments

Alumni/Alumna

Malabar college of engineering and technology has a power ful alumni. We have an alumni association amceta. Under amceta we are organizing many events. In UAE amceta has a special chapter. Alumni association has a foot ball team which won many matches and tournaments

Admission

First you have to write kerala entrance exam. if you have score above 10 then you will be in rank list. Then you can get an admission through merit list. Otherwise you can get an admission through management scheme.

Faculty

Faculties are good and very friendly. They know very much about the subject. They will offer help to students all time. They will also help students to guide various research related activities. Faculties are excellent

Placement opportunities are good. As I understand each students get minimum 20 company interview chances. students are placeed in TCS, Johson & Johson, eependorf, cipla, infosys etc. i think some where around 50000 per month was the highest. lowest is 15 k i believe.

Placements are mostly conducted with AMRITA school of pharmacy, and managed by the CIR team (They take care to develop and mould students from 1st semester in aptitude, English and soft skills). A review about life in CET, as an Mtech structural engineering student

Placement Experience:

In first semester so far no placement for structural engineering had came. Basically for Mtech placement is less compared to Btech. And especially for civil Engineering streams it's too less. College is saying many companies will visit in coming days. In Btech in other streams like CS,EEE most of them are placed when it comes to civil it's less to get placed in core companies. In Mtech only a few get placed in core companies. My aim is to get placed in any company. Preference is a core company but it's ok if get any other companies also

In a very short period of time the college us able to match the standards of IIT. Few of my batchmates received pre-placement offers during the college internship program. The college was able to provide the highest package of around 30 LPA and the average package was 11 LPA. Arista Network, Google, TCS Research, Mckinsey, Honeywell, Texas instruments and Larson and Toubro were the top recruiters.
