My college

The college infrastructure is very much near to environment as there is a huge bird cage and many variety breeds of dogs and birds in the college. There are plenty of trees and plants planted in the college surrounding. A main drawback is that the college does not have a well defined drainage system as after a heavy rain the college gets flooded to a certain limit.

It is a very good course and has a good future. The exam is semester based. There are 6 semesters. At end of each semester the main exams are conducted. The results come within one year so if you have scored less in any subject you can re-apply for the exam. The last semester exam results comes within 10 days.

The college offers great placements. Well doing companies conducts interviews and campus selections. The college itself provides internships for students who have opted for them. As I am still a student I do not know the details regarding stipend and experience.

All the cultural days are celebrated in our college. The seasonal festivals such as Onam and Christmas is also celebrated in a good manner. Also we have union day and college day where students can display their talents and skills. There also department days in which each department can have their own celebration.

The fee structure is very much feasible. After providing good faculty and a very good exposure they demand less fees. To complete my B.Com course less than Rupees 2 lakh is only required. The fees is paid for each year.

The college has excellent computer labs as well as a good library. The college allows the students to take part in inter-college competitions individually or as groups. There is a team for every sports game. They are taken for inter-college matches often.

The college alumni frequently visits the college and helps in the development of the college in the every manner they can. Senior students are friendly and helpful and are leading lights for the juniors.

I applied to the MG University’s main website. Waited for the allotment call. I got allotted In the last allotment and joined the college by paying the fees. The college also takes admission on management basis by paying an amount of one lakh which is a caution deposit refundable once the course is completed.

The faculty is average. There are experienced teachers as well as beginners. The try to do their best in teaching the students. They support the students. There are physical education teachers. There are counselors for students to be motivated and supported personally.
