Review about the college life in MGM

I totally found that the college having a lot potential due to its name is drawn back due to mismanagement and unedquate staff.The management should focus on students demand and needs and try to bring up placement to improve there name

The course curriculum is good as it completely abides the mumbai university pattern.The student has to be punctual about the assignments and there due dates as it is important part of the curriculum.There are marks for the assignments and even attendence

Well there are fewer company visiting the campus soo placement is not good .From entire strength of about 800 students only 8-10 students get placed from the campus.Also there is no internship provided by the college

The college has only one fest that is mangalam. But the fest is also boring as the principal doesnt grants much fund for it. It feels like as ur in junior college fests with much restrictions and boring events.

The fees structure is quite expensive as compared to the facilities provided.During my time it was around 92000 per year.But the college lacked basic amenities such as clean washroom,Drinking water etc

The college helps you fully avail various government scholarships like ews,minority etc but doesnt provide any self scholarship programes.Also they trouble u lot for ur loan process as they dont help u much with ease of providing the documents for the sanction of loan

The labs here are outdated and college has only focus on money soo sports and etc are kept aside.U have to fight with authority for participation in various sports and there are no fun events here which makes student calm and happy

No i did not opted for hostel.Also the college doesnt has its hostel for engineering students.Engineering students are told to rent out a space nearby.Hostels are only for medical students.College peons provide hostel facilities for student by charging them commissions

No the network here u develop would be on no use as almost evryone passed out from here are struggling and the ones who get settled would never bother to help you. And no alumni ever tries to visit the college as they have had a bad experience here

As the college itself has its own merit list on the basis of Jee marks as well as 12th standard percentage.The merit list displayed on the college board after that the students are called for the documentation process and fees payment

The faculty is quite below average because there are no permanent teachers.The teachers keep on changing and at times there are 2 subjects which are taught by the same teacher.Also the teachers have less practical approach and are more into rote learning
