Remarks

I haven't felt that much negative things here. But what I think that is needed to here is we more programmes and some leisure hours. The major thing that I wish to introduce here is that, our college has a president model of voting system here. But our students wish for a parliamentary type of voting.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's better. The course consist of 6 semesters. Each semester consist of two internal exams(CAT 1&2).The mark obtaines in these exams has a role in the internal mark for the final exam. If one has obtained 90%mark in CAT 1,writing CAT2 is optional. Then there is a final semester exam.

Placement Experience

1.5

The college provides no placement. As this is a non professional degree programme there is no internship provided. But the college will inform us about the opportunities and chances as well. But our university is a renowned one and has a nice education syllabus as well. So the certificate from here has a great value.

College Events

4

From the start, there is a grand freshers day party. Then there is union inauguration day in which it is inaugurated by renowned person even the great actors of our industry. Then we celebrate arts day which is named as FOZLAVA. And there is a lot of such events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's feasible. Most or majority of the students have got their admission here based on their merit. So there is no need to pay a great amount. For all it's below Rs.10000. And from the students who got their admission through management seats they buy a fees of Rs.15k to 20k.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hindi scholarship. This is provided for the students who are taken hindi as a second language. Those who are eligible for this scholarship will receive Rs. 500 per each month. Also the college provide a scholarship named Sir syed student support scholarship programme in which the scholarship is granted to the financially unstable or weak students.

Campus Life

3.5

The sports activities of our college is really remarkable. Because the students from our college has acquired great positions and prices from different levels. College has an attractive lab facilities as well. The college has a zoology lab, chemistry lab, botany lab and a physics lab. Every student belonging to each group can freely perform in the laboratory.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel has a nice infrastructure. It consist of almost all needed facilities. The food given is also better. I would like rate 8/10 Hostel provides a gym facility for each student. Everyone can use it.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. The alumini of our college has a group and they provide many helps as well as they conduct many programmes here. These programmes are great help for the students. because it consist of the awareness programmes about our opportunities and chances after the graduation.

Admission

After my 12th result I have applied for the admission of Farook college. After the college has published their first allotment list based on the merit. I was in waiting list then. After a few days they published the second allotment list. And then they invited me for the interview. I attended it. And then I got the admission here.

Faculty

3.5

They are really good. The teachers and other non teaching staffs are really a great support to us. The teachers are truly very sincere. And they teaches in such a way that they thoroughly clarifies each and every portions and there is a doubt clearance session too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
