Remarks
The campus view is very good. It is very near to the city area. You can go out for having fun. There is no restrictions for students. No time limit for hostels. The academic is so good and also the infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's a 4 year course. The curriculum is based upon product design and Ui Ux design. There are 8 semester in four year. 2 semester in each year. You have to secure Atleast 6cgpa per semester to stay in the college.
Placement Experience
Placement is very good. There is so many options for a person to seat for a placement according to there interest. The job offer are quite good. The lpa is normally not less than 6lakhs. Yes, there is opportunity for internship in NIT RKL. I did my internship at Rourkela steal plant for 6 months. My stipend was 6k Per month.
College Events
There are four events in a year. One is multiethinic it is a traditional function. Then inovision it's very famous among all NIT. Roots it's a design related function. Then foundation day of NIT. Apart from this hall day, garden day, and farewell were also celebrated there.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When I joined the fee structure was quite good. For me it cost around 6.5lakh for four years to complete my graduation. It includes all my expenses like hostel fee, Semester fee, study materials etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you are having st/sc quota then you can apply for scholarships through college. There is facility for taking study loan from bank. It is very easy to take the loan. You just have to show then your college joining letter.
Campus Life
Labs are very good and well maintained. There is a very good scope for cricket, football, table tennis, volleyball, kabadi, athlete, etc. There are different clubs for extracurricular activities like design, dance, singing.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the alumni network is so good. They are very helpful. Even they are helping the poor students to complete there graduation. A alum group is there in our college and it's name is Nitraa. You can see this in NIT RKL official site.
Admission
First gave Jee main entrance exam.Then on basis of 12th and jee main mark I got a seat in the college. Then I went for counseling. They verify all documents there and allotted a seat in industrial design at NIT RKL.
Faculty
Faculty was quite good in my college. The were very helpful to the students. They are most experienced teacher. The teaching quality is very good. If you want to study industrial design then I would like to recommend you to go for NIT RKL.
