Remarks

There are many issues but two of them are They just need to improve the infrastructure and the sports facilities. Medical insurance is also a problem till 2019. So some of the very important issues should be focused.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum is little bit different from other colleges. But if you are clear with your high school concepts It will not be very difficult to cope up with the subjects. Exam pattern is like there is 8 semesters each of nearly 4 months so there are two exams, mid semester and semester.

Placement Experience

3

In 2019 first batch of the College took part in campus placement and 60% of the interested students got placed with average placement around 5Lacs/annum and the highest package being 10 lakhs. But We can expect a higher packages for the next batches.

College Events

2

There are not many events that are held here. Fresher's is held in the month of November and intra college sports is organised. Some cultural events are held only on republic day and independence day. Some technical events also organised.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is expensive in my point because approximately 30k goes to academic each month from one student after 2018. There are extra expenditures too so 130k is spent in just 4 months so I would say that the fee structure is not feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is the biggest problem of my college. There is no bank parter of the college that can provide loan to the students. so the students have to take care of it itself. Same with the scholarship. you apply for the scholarship and they will forward it to related authority.

Campus Life

1.5

Labs are good. They are highly equipped. But no extra curricular activities are held. And In the name of sports nothing happens. We go to inter IIIT sports meet and IIT Guwahati for spirit but with no practice because there is no such thing like coach here. So one more weak point is sports.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel rooms are good but the facilities here are dead. They are very slow like slower than tortoise to fix any problem of the hostel. Hostel is not expensive you can stay here. Also you can't stay outside you have to stay at the hostels

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the alumni are very helpful. We can contact them whenever we face a problem. Seniors are also supportive. They help when one is in need of something or have some problems regarding study or academics

Admission

You have to clear Jee Mains. After then you have to take part in counseling process by nta and csab. If you get a seat You can come and take admission. You have to carry all the necessary documents because It is important.

Faculty

3

Faculties are good.I can't say that they are the best but some of them are very good. Its a new college and also at the north eastern part of the country so there are faculties mostly from nort east. Some of them are from other states. They are assistant professors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know IIITs are running on new curriculum. We have lab practicals after completing theory in the classes.the teaching method is good according to me. The exams are too frequent. According to me there should be only one midsem exam instead of 3 assessment .And a end sem exam Midsem and endsem exams are enough according to me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cse ongoing trend, that's why taken that. Curriculum syllabus +few more other topics =placement That means the level of your placement depends on your weightage of that few more topics For every semester there will be 3 assignment and one final exam. Few days before exam is enough preparation. The course curriculum should change completely for India not just for us and teaching methods are good for senior professor but not juniors

Average package is 10-12 lpa,and placement percentage is also about 76 % not all placement are campus based some are off campus placement .This is too less as compased to other IIITs .The placement in ece department is about 8-10 lpa which is also very less compared to other IIITs.
