Remarks

Best college in Maharashtra .As I already Wrote much about BATU, I must say join it and explore yourself. Better late than never ,College management is good. But some ppl are very arrogant. overall I will give 4/5 stars to the college.

4

The university takes admissions in the 7 B.Tech specialisations top fill the total intake capacity of 60 in each of the specialisations in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU). Placement Experience

3.5

The placement for comp and it is better, for chemical and petrochemical it's good and for other negligible.for our batch.14 of the batch of 60 are placed in the month of September only. The TNPC are working very hard to get placements. And in future, it will be on the top. No, till our batch, college does not provide internships. But if you got any, the college will permit you to do so and you have to come for exams only. I was doing one at the start of the final year.

College Events

3

College mainly celebrates SHIVJAYANTI and CYNOSURE. As the college is in Raigad district, we celebrate the shivjayanti with great enthusiasm. CYNOSURE is the Technical Festival of the TECHNOLOGICAL university. ABHIYANT VASANT is the gathering activity of the university.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Government autonomous. The fee structure is feasible. But they are increasing university development fees every year. They charge 26000 for the open student as the university development fees. The fees for a year was 64000 and for obc, it was 29000 and for sc and St 1500-4000 something. I think it is expensive for open students.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. But you can apply for loan at any bank and for sure they will approve your request. College provides all the scholarships provided by the government. like EBC, FREESHIP etc. Loan facility is not appropriately available .

Campus Life

4

The boy's girls ratio is 2:1. Students are from various regions of MAHARASHTRA. And very few are from J&K and other states. Every department has their own labs fully equipped. There is a sports ground which is only open in winters and summers. CYNOSURE contains all the robotic events. And ABHIYANTA VASANT has all the debates and literature competitions.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel is quite good. The mess food quality s increasing day by day. There are 4-5 hostels for boys and girls. Sahyagiri for 1st yr boys. And Gagangiri for senior boys. Dhawalgiri for 1st and 2nd yr girls and Makaygiri for senior girls. Each hostel has its own mess. And food is good for girls hostel as compared to boys.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. We manage alumni meet every 3 years. Its a good exp in terms of various opportunities probably we aren't aware about most of the times and it helps junior students to work in that direction. The alumni and seniors are very helpful and in contact with the college. Every department has its own alumni team and we have alumni meet every 2 years.

Admission

Admission in my college through the 12 percentage and CET percentile & diploma students goes through last year's marks Admission process for B.Tech in Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU) 2019 generally starts from the Mid-march. Faculty

4

The teaching staff is very friendly and available for 24*7. They always try to solve the problem of students at any time and any place. Even the permanent staff, head of departments are also cooperative and supportive to students actions. but the non-teaching staff is very arrogant mainly the student section ppl and the guards.
