Remarks
The negative is may be nothing. But for positives i would like to mention that staff is very helpful in multiple ways and has been cooperative since the admission process till date. Thus making the college environment healthy.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of the bscit course is very comfortable and helps to improve overall knowledge about the subjects. The curriculum has a perfect examination scheme where we have 20mrk internal 75mrk external 50mrk practical and 5 marks for the attendance
Placement Experience
I have tried contacting the placement cell for a internship they are very helpful and they provide various variety of jobs and work from home, etc. The stipend is also nice, never got a opportunity to get to know how much is it.
College Events
The events celebrated in our college are very joyful. For every department we have a different fest. Thus making the number of events to more than 10. Listing the few will be techxposure, utkarsh, zenith, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is given by Mumbai university and not decided by our college as we are affiliated with Mumbai university creating a very feasible fees. There are also add ons available for a course such as language course, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship committee of our college has to offer multiple scholarships for poor and there is also provision for a backward caste to unveil the fee concession. The girls can also get a minor concession in fees.
Campus Life
The extra curricular activities is the main reason for the people taking admission in our college. There are multiple sports facilities available in the college campus. The college consist of the 3 labs in total containing more than 150 computers
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni committee in the college is a group of students who organize the events for the alumnus to re enjoy the college life and help them reunite. The somaiya alumni group also have the annual events.
Admission
There was an online pre admission form available on the college website and had to wait after that for merit list. Then after merit is crossed we had to fill the offline form and pay the admission fees to get the successful admission
Faculty
The faculty of our college are all highly qualified and trained hence makes us understand all the technical subjects quickly. The faculties also try not to bore us by using various techniques such as quiz and presentations
