Remarks

Truly the best Hotel Management Institute of India.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It is a very well structured course with too many practical classes and German language development. Daily we have motivational classes along with a knowledge-driven curriculum taught to all the candidates with regular testing classes I feel that in just a few days I have developed a lot of confidence.

Placement Experience

5

All my seniors have got placed internationally and some of the leading 5-star hotels in Mumbai and Delhi also. I have not yet undergone an internship but I know that it will be a great experience.

College Events

5

Christmas carnival Drool food festival, German language quiz competition, Hicc- herbarium international cuisines competition. Herbarium international wines challenge. Also, there are many prize competitions that are held very regularly from time to time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Total fee is inclusive of Airfare to a foreign location so it is quite affordable. The total fee is 566400, which is perfect because everything is included in it. I mean your tuition fee, practical classes, German language training, Airfare to Foreign Location, so it is quite competitive

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't opt for any scholarships because I didn't qualify for it. Still, I feel that once you make it to the Herbarium Institute of International Hotel Studies, you are a blessed student.

Campus Life

5

Campus Life is truly remarkable and the gender ratio is healthy. For every 10 males, there are 4 female students. Labs are world-class and equipped with the latest equipment. Debates and GD Classes are compulsory for everyone to participate in and deliver.

Alumni/Alumna

I am in touch with many alumni and they too speak very high about this Institute. It is a very good environment for seniors.

Admission

It was my dream to be a part of the hotel industry and chose the Herbarium Institute of International Hotel Studies, Vikaspuri, New Delhi. I underwent Two Steps of Selection. The test at this Institute is called HETPA, HERBARIUM ENTRANCE TEST, AND PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT. Psychometric Written Test followed by Personality Interview. I appeared for December 2019 Test on 12.12.19.

Faculty

5

Excellent and very well supportive to every student of each year you can ask any questions and you get your answers. Practical application by all the faculty. I think that all faculty members have in-depth knowledge of the hotel industry and they also have a passion to teach.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.
