Remarks

For the experiance of Kuttanand and Village ambience, the college might be good for you. But considering the fact that its a college and the feel thah usual colleges give might not be found here. Politics is another negative and positive for some factor of the college. The college would be surrounded by water if rains happen and transportation might not be available as the highways might be waterlogged. This situation occurs at least once a year and a 10 day leave is usually obtained due to this.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is fairly decent but old and need replenishments based on the new trends in the respective fields. There would be 2 exams per year conducted during april-may and november-december of the year and 3 internal exmainations before the 2 major exams.

Placement Experience

5

Placements and job opportunities are the major facts due to which people join here. No a separate intership cell does not exist here and students need to apply personally for the interships. The overall stipends wont matter as college does not provide interships.

College Events

2.5

We have a techfest and an artsfest called Innovia and Sattva respectevely. Those are conducted each year and we do conduct workshops and meeting to discuss technology, conduct seminars and discussions on associations of the different branches of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is different for Kerala Quota and All India Quota. Kerala Quota consisting of the natives may need to pay aroung 25k per sem and if eligible for communities and reservations, the pay might vary from 500 to 25k. The All India Quota need around 50k per sem and the NRI quota needs a bit more than the 50k of the All India Quota along with a hefty caution deposit

Fees and Financial Aid

I dont have a scholarship from the college. But the regular scholarship schemes from the governments might be applicable here and can be availed for benefits. For example MOMA gives around 30k per year

Campus Life

2

The college have a vibrant sport activities. Football is most active. Other activities include Volleyball, Cricket, Table Tennis etc. College lacks adequate facilities in Civil and Mechanical Labs and need to go to the main campus in CUSAT to do separate labs.

Alumni/Alumna

No comments as I dont know anything about the alumni network apart from a Facebook Group called CUCEK Alumni. Also there is a 20 Year anniversary Alumni meet happening in the college on 26th October 2019

Admission

Write CAT exam a secure a respectable rank so that you might be eligible for the admission in this college. After the ranks are out, specifoc dates for counselling would be given. Attend those days and you might be admitted.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college consists of permanent as well as temporary ones on contract basis. Most of the permanent except few have required knowledge about the topics and the temporary ones most are average in their knowledge base.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
