Saintgits college of engineering has a lot of positive remarks.It is one of the few colleges in the Kerala that are affiliated by NBA.Also NAKSHATRA is an intercollege fest conducted here which is very famous

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is a bit tough.All engineering colleges in Kerala are affiliated under one university,KTU.Many complaints have been raised against the valuation of the papers.Many students get failed in first time and when they apply revaluation they get passed.Complaints are being raised that university is forcing students to pay 600 rupees per subject for revaluation.

Placement Experience

Saintgits college of engineering provide placements for students.Many it companies are coming here for placements. Many students got their preferred jobs.Also by university entry scheme navy officers are coming here for recruitments

College Events

Saintgits college of engineering celebrates a lot of events.We conduct celebrations for Holi Onam Christmas Kerala piravi etc. Also college arts day and technical events are also conducting every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Saintgits college of engineering's fees structure is bit high because it is a private self financing college.But bright students with good marks can study here at low fees.They get scholarships for their studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Saintgits college of engineering provide good scholarships to students who are bright in studies. Students who got 90 per cent mark in the plus two can study with low fees.Also scholarships based on. Caste is also available.

Campus Life

Saintgits college of engineering has good facilities in extracurricular activities.A good ground and cricket nets are provided outside. Also there in basketball court.College has teams in every event.

Hostel Facilities

Saintgits college of engineering hostel is actually very good. Hostel provides good facilities in sports etc.Also they provide nutritious food.Bathroom facilities are good.Ragging is strictly prohibited in the hostel.

Saintgits college of engineering alumis are very helpful. They come sometimes to college and share their experiences in the colleges and how to get jobs in placements.They also share their memories in the college.

Admission

I got admission in saintgits college of engineering by writing entrance exam.The name of the exam is keam.It is a tough exam.I got 35000 rank in the main list. Then I selected good colleges and registered in the keam portal. Then I got selected to the college.

Faculty

The faculty of Saintgits college of engineering is very good. They are helping us a lot. Special classes are arranged for weak students after 4.10.And also we could approach department at any time for our acamedic related queries .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Is engineering here worth it?

College at first look, only started a new chapter in here...

I did a blunder as I did wanted to write IMU CET exam but due to a mistake I did forgot to inform the keam management regarding this and both exam coninsided in one day at different places one in Kerala and other in Bangalore.
