DIATM Engineering college review.

This college is still not entirely ragging free. The the college needs to spent more on the remuneration for placement and campusing. Management ist he worst aspect of this college.They are not cooperative with both management and students.

Course curriculum could have been better. Exam structure is average but sometimes The student suffers from less time between semesters; especially in odd semester where a great number of holidays including Durga puja and Kali Puja.

Many students are already placed this year and many are in waiting list. But the college needs to spent more on the remuneration so that various companies get interested to do a pool campusing in our college.

1) Annual Fest. 2)Biswakarma puja. 3)Sarawati puja. 4) Annual sports. 5) Graduation ceremony of DIATM MOUNTAINEERING CLUB. 6) Blood donation camp Many event favouring an concerning social, educational and diplomatic aspects are also held here.

Fees varies from 42000 to 45000 per semester. There is also option for government TFW. The college also provides self TFW for underprivileged students and charges a very nominal tuition fees from them.

College provides underprivileged students self TFW( tuition FEE WAIVER). Apart from that one can avail for scholarship under sports quota and other than that the college also has tieup with numerous Third party loan givers .

We have many clubs in our college. They include: 1)Diatm MOUNTAINEERING CLUB. 2)Yoddha club. 3)Roca club. 4) ENTREPRENEURSHIP CLUB. DIATM MOUNTAINEERING CLUB have arranged and successfully finished 1 trek,3 Rockclimbing course and one adventure course already and have another trek scheduled at 26oct 2019. Myself being a member of the club can proudly say that no other colleges in DURGAPUR have any MOUNTAINEERING club.

No, I haven't opted for hostel as I live near the college. But according to my hosteller friends the food, accomodation and hostel fees are fair enough. There is also a separate library, canteen and refreshment room for students. Girls hostel slso have additional security.

Yes, we do have a good alumni network. Seniors are helpful and somtime become enough mental supposed when juniors join the same company as them. However this college is still not entirely ragging free.

Firstly you will have to appear for either JEE MAINS or WB JEE. After the exam results are out you will have to opt for online counseling where you get to select a college as per your rank. You can also opt for management quota.

Faculty tries their best but management is not cooperative with both the faculties and students. The faculty members of Electrical Department are knowledgeable and many senior teachers are present. Everything is okay except for the management, which is degrading the college name.
