Reviewing my college (Abes)

The college has very supportive and encouraging environment.the infrastructure is great and faculties are very hard working and supporting . placement of our college is number 1 in the city and also in the academic our college is number 1 from last 3 years. There is a compulsion of 75% for students which is to be fulfilled by the students in order to avoid any obstacles in giving exams.

Course curriculum for b tech was very tough and vast at the time i tiok admission but now it is narrowed to particular subjects only. There are sessional tests and exams at regular interval in a semester of 4-6 Months. Exams are conducted at the end in the aktu affiliated colleges followed by practicals at our own college.

Placement is great in our college and last year 93% of students of computer science and information technology branch were placed at the end of last semester.placement for other branches are also great and 60% students of other branches were placed in campus. Internships opportunities are provided in the 5th semester both in campus and of campus .stipend is dependent on the skill set of the students.

There are many technical and cultural events that are celebrated in our college throughout the year.few days back genero was celebrated which was a 3 day techno cultural event with series of events. There was theatre show bike stunt show, sance and singing competition. Dj night and star night.jassie gill and babbal rai performed at our college in the star night.other than this there are many groups in the college for such events.

Fee Structure in our college is little expensive as compared to other colleges of university.there are manuly curricular activities in our college for placement s such as aptitude and technical classes for which extra charge is taken from students but it helps students a lot in their placement exams and other competitions.

There are many such facilities provided by college through which students can have their expenses fee waived upto some extent. There is a scholarship scheme for students having family income less than 2. Lpa .the students get 50-100% fee waiver after filling the scholarship form.there is also a facility of laon during fee submission for students who unable to pay fees. There are also many competition arranged with monetary gifts for winners.

There are many extra curricular activities such as technical competition for various branches such as robot race for electrical students .coding challenges for cs and it students and various other for civil and mechanical students. There are also many cultural groups such as theatre ,drama and Samvaad group for verbal and nonverbal communication skills .these activities helps students to enhance their personality and showcase their talents in front of the college.

Alumni and seniors are helpful and there are many seminars and get together arranged by the college for meet up of alumni for the students to provide them their placement and work experience and share their knowledge and interact with junior about the job and corporate sector. These activities are helpful for the final year students who are sitting in the campus placement.

I appeared for upsee exam after my 12 th exams in 2015 .after few days i got my rank and merit.i got 21000 all India rank and i applied for counseling in which i got my college with Information technology branch.then i was called at college premises for further admission process.

Faculties at our college are very supportive and friendly and helps all the students to teach with excellent knowledge. There are various experiencd as well as new faculty members and there is a balnce environment between students and teachers. they take regular doubt session and extra classes for weak students.
