Remarks

I am not at all satisfied with the college management as the college ranks below 10 in India,but the college college management were so careless and they did not bother of anything.

Entrance Preview

I have qualified in IIT JEE examination and secured an all India rank of 5519 in general category.After that,I was allotted seat in 4 yr. b.tech ECE in ism Dhanbad.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies visited the college for internships and also they paid a decent amount of stipend.My internship was not that great and I even didn't have satisfaction of doing it.The general stipend offered was 20k per month.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities were average.Almost 40 percent of the students were unplaced and the packages offered by the companies were so low that the students placed were also not opting for the job.

College Events

Both technical and cultural events were celebrated in the college.Apart from these,sports fest is also held every year.The cultural fest known as Srijan is one of the biggest college fest in Asia.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee was very less when compared to that of other IIT's ,NIt's and also Bits.The fee was around 20 k per semester excluding the mess fee which was 15k per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was offered merit based scholarship and I think it was the best scholarship offered to the students in the campus.

Campus Life

Campus life was boring as there were no active extracurriculars .All the students very much active in sports and I think apart from sports all the other activities were inactive.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities were not at all good and the mess food was so bad that 70 percent of the students were eating the food outside the campus in restaurants.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

I had interaction with my seniors and they have supported me alot during the exams and also placements.They guided me in a right path and there was a healthy junior senior relationship in the college.

Exam Structure

All the exams were continuous i mean there is no gap in between each exam.If there were 5 subjects all the subject were conducted 5 days in a row.All the lab exams were also conducted in the same way.So,there was no time to study before the exam day.

Faculty

The faculty was pretty good and the all the professors were very friendly with the student and also they encourage the students very much.The course curriculum was not that great and the electives were below standards.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Beyond the Brochures: Fun Days at BIT

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Students become eligible for internship after 4th semester , after 6th semester the companies start coming for regular placement For cse the average was around 20 lpa with median being 16-17 lpa Companies that generally visit are - atlassian, Amazon, flipkart , BNY Mellon, cisco, Texas Instruments etc Around 140 offers were made and in a batch of 120, 100 have secured placement Placement percentage is around 92% Highest package - 65 lpa atlassian (on campus) 1.23 cr rubrik (off campus) Lowest package - 7 lpa Average - 18 - 20 lpa

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Is Arka jain University right fit for you

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

Must Read before coming to IIT ISM Dhanbad

I had secured AIR 5860 in JEE Advanced, so i had applied for all CSE, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MNC and related branches in Top IITs. For my rank, I got IIT ISM Dhanbad in the last round. I had also got IIT Kharagpur Manufacturing Science, but I choosed to go for furture rounds as i thought doing a circuit branch in IITs is better. I could not make it to colleges that i wanted to as my rank was 5860 and belonging to the GENERAL category, the rank is too high to get into top branches of the top 7 IITS. The admission process is JEE Advanced, Elgibility is that u need to have good rank in JEE Advanced, the rank required varies from branch to branch but i can give you and idea, for our IIT ISM, CSE -> 2000 to 3500, MNC -> 3500 to 4500 , ECE -> 4500 to 6000 and so on....Read More
