Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was great because the institute has a national importance, curriculum was decided by highly qualified people of the country and necessary changes were made when required. The exam structure is similar to any other college where the students has to give a final exam for every semester.

Placement Experience

Placements are definitely on a good pace but not 100 percent. The college itself doesn't provide any internships but we can opt for any kind of internships for which we get help from the institute in any which ways if required.

College Events

We have a fixed set of events and fests for an academic year. There will be an event each for technical, cultural, innovation, sports and a separate celebrity night being conducted where a celebrity will be invited to grace the occasion

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive, because the college is directly handled by the MINISTRY OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT INDIA, the expectation of the fee structure will be on a lower scale which is different from the reality.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes , one can avail the loan facility easily and the state bank of india inside the campus makes the process hassle free. Also we can opt for the loan on the spot after the admission confirmation without any prior applications.

Campus Life

Labs here in the college are good, but not best in the country as they lag when compared to other premier institutes of the country. Facilities for the sports arr up to the mark and everyone are eligible to use the same

Hostel Facilities

Everyone in the college must opt for the hostel and facilities for the same are up to the mark. College contains a large residential building separately for boys and girls with all the facilities provided by the college management itself.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes senior are always there for any sort of help. The college is almost a ragging free campus thus making it easier for the students to approach the senior students without any fear of ragging. Also there is a big alumni network build by the college.

Admission

Appeared for the JEE MAINS Examination, Based on the All India Rank, we select a list of preferred colleges in an order online, then based on the rank secured admission was going granted. Once the admission is granted, should report to the college for confirming the joining.

Faculty

Faculty of the college are one among the top in the country, highly qualified. The faculty are always there for any type of help one seek for and also there to guide the students in their carrer to prosper.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester the students are eligible for internship but after 4th sem the students are eligible for Plecement. More the 95% students get the placements. Highest package is aprox Rs.4300000 and lowest is 300000. My plan is for higher studies after getting degree.

ITER SOA is quite intimidating!!

Placement Experience:

IBM, Siemens, Philips and many other companies and even the chio makers and computer makers are also one of the main share holders in placements. For CSE department the average placements are of 15-20 lakhs but for our department the average drops down to 6 lakhs per annum.

So I choose these college over the others because of its relevant name and the hype of this college In India as It is Institute of national importance And also a government backed college and it is one of the most demanded college. So the colleges which I have applied to are DTU, NSUT, Nit Trichy, Nit Warangal, Nit Surat Kal And top 7 iits. No I was not rejected from the other college which I have applied to but the combination of branching and the college value Doesn't satisfied me for taking admission in that colleges. So the admission process for the Nit Rourkela Is that the eligibility criteria is 75% in 12th class And second criteria is to clear the entrance exam which is the JEE mains and also scoring a very good marks in it. Then by the centralised Josaa Counselling student will fill their choices ,lock and get allotments in the upcoming rounds of the josaa counselling. The ending rank to take admission in this college in the EC branch is about a 6000-7000 rank in the jee mains exam for the other state people.
