Jouney of my College

The positive about the college is that it is situated near the backwaters of Kuttanadu. It is a very beautiful place filled with the serenity of nature. The negative is that it is an isolated place and transportation is difficult.

The course curriculum is very good. The exam is divided into 8. The curriculum follows a semester system. There are 8 semesters in 4 years. There will be a supplementary/Improvement exam for each semester.

College does not provide internships. But there are good Job opportunities and Placements. There is a placement cell in the college and separate placement training is offered to the students. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, IBM, Mitsogo are the companies offered.

Sattva, The arts fest of college. Conducted once a year. The program will be conducted brach wise. It will be a 3-day program. Students will participate in various events. Innovia, The tech fest of college, is Conducted once in two years.

The free seat will cost about ? 25000 per semester and the merit seat will cost about ? 40000 per semester. The NRI seat will cost? 50000 per semester. There is financial assistance to the backward castes.

There are various scholarships offered to the students. Loan facilities are also available. Fee concessions are given to backward caste students. There is also various other scholarships based on the family income.

There are very good lab facilities in the college. There are well facilitated Mechanical Engineering lab, Civil Engineering lab, Electrical Engineering lab. Also, there is Air Conditioned Computer Lab and various Electronics labs.

Senior students and Alumni are a helping hand to the students. Also they provide various sponsorship for the programs in the college. The Alumni are very supportive of the students. Various programs are conducted by Alumni.

After my higher secondary education, I wrote the CUSAT CAT entrance examination. In that, I secured a rank of 4771. There was an admission process at CUSAT main campus. After that, I got admission to this college.

The faculty in the college are good. There is permanent faculty who are Associate Professor. And there are temporary faculty. All are of good education qualification. The approach of teaching is very good.
