Remarks

I think if you are a guy who wants to be loved by teachers and don't want anything except books knowledge then the college is like heaven for you but if you are guy who love to explore new things you can't because there is not enough time you have to give class whether teacher teach nothing but have to give because of 75% attendance rule.after that lots of burden of assignment everything no time management.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is approx outdated but according ti norms of union grant commission better than some private college you will surely get some knowledge after completing mca there are 2 sessionals exam and 1 semester exam.best of two will selected.

Placement Experience

Worst in one worst there is not so much opportunities only 2-3 companies comes for on campus you have to go for many off campus which information provided by them they do not give any extra time to last year student so they can't prepare for campus placements efficiently.and they do not even care whether you placed or not.

College Events

Freshers party celebrated by our seniors and farewell celebrated by our juniors. There are not so many fest organized in mca departments yet in university many functions organized time to time like jannagni youth festival and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is not so expensive.fees is so cheap. I am in MCA in mca fees of 1 year is 33500 rs which is feasible and you can save lots of money.Come here if you really want to save money or can't afford high fees otherwise don't.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is not so high in gkv so there is no need to get loan or something any person can pay the fees so college does not provide any loan facility maybe that can be for btech where fees is little high i don't know but not for any other course.

Campus Life

Labs are good here approx 100 computers which has i5 processor and windows 10 installed. Sports events organized every year in which interdepartment championships organized and many functions on department organized too.

Hostel Facilities

No, I do not opted for hotel because they don't have enough room for all the student so not everyone can get the hostel in the university only few lucky one can get the hostel facility. The hostel infrastructure is good and better then mostly government hostels.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

No, there is no alumni network. I think they had passed through what we facing right so they hate it never want to visit and never help any of its college students. So you have to do everything on his own.

Admission

I gave entrance exam conducted by gurkila kangadi Vishwavidyalya Vishwavidyalya haridwar in lucknow city. my rank was 36 and i got seat in general category after that i submitted my fees and got selected in MCA.

Faculty

Faculty is pretty average only 2 or 3 teachers are exceptional other then that faculty is not good they just torture they never help you.you have to do this things by own and handle there pressure too so that makes college life pretty hectic and unpleasant.

Life at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV, Haridwar)

I choose this college because it is old esteemed deemed to be university. It is one of the oldest university in India with much good prestige in lists of college. It is internationally recognized good institution as stated by the government of India. It is NAAC accredated and also UGC funded university. It is purely boys college, no girls are allowed admission in this college. This institution is managed by the Arya Samaj with collaboration with the state government. It comes under GFTI. I got rejection from Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. My JEE Mains rank was not as much as it was required to take admission into Delhi Technological University. I was not able to score better in my JEE Mains examination, so my JEE Mains rank was not sufficient to get a seat in this college.
