The university offers commendable infrastructure

Dislikes

Strict attendence policies min 75% attendence requirement can be stressful for students.
Missing classes due to internship or project can lead to academic penalties.
The campus size is smaller compared to other universities, limiting outdoors sports and recreational spaces.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity and Blockchain should be expanded to keep up with the growing demand in these areas. Hackathons, coding challenges and business case competitions are promoted within the curriculam.

Internships Opportunities

Gehu Bhimtal campus internship across various disciplines companies include samsung, google, aris and tcs. we all know these companies stipend is always month in lakh. These internship student to apply there theoretical knowledge and their problem solving abilities and technical expertise.

Placement Experience

If you are in second semester of MCA you become eligible for placement drive. TCS, Accenture,Infosys also visited in campus. 32LPA highest this year in VISA. Average package is 3.2LPA. more then 35% placed

Fees and Financial Aid

There is two part of fee structure 1. All India Candidates 2. Uttarakhand/State Candidates Fee Structure are also divide in percentage criteria I have mention below 60%. I am from Uttarakhand so I have mention only Uttarakhand/State Candidates for MCA students. If you need further details you also visit there official website.

Campus Life

They are organised some hackthons, photography competition also. some sports students can participate like cricket, basketball, badminton. Library have 1000 of books for tech and other department to you can issue for a month for studying.

Admission

GEHU has a simple process students can register online and offline both modes are provided. first, you have to visit their official website for registration after registration you can go to the college to submit your documents like T.C, C.C 10th,12th, and graduation marksheet. If you are taking Btech so same process will be executed. They are given some affidavits for their policy to some anti-ragging and another affidavit you have submitted in the campus. They dont need to what you have percentage you can admission in 60% also.

Faculty

The course curriculam is designed to balance theoretical knowledge with practical application, regulary updated to align with industry trends. Dr. Sandeep kumar budhani and Naveen tiwari praised for their supportive and professional guidance.

Night Life

Campus have cafeteria also and they have block to call DS. DS have cafeteria area, gym, a little shop for printing and other snacks item in a shop. Campus timing is morning 8.00 am to 4.00 pm. A wednesday you can wearing you fav clothes beacuse that day they allow to causal wear. Hangout place you can visit near by sattal lake.

That one experience that changed my life

Likes

The number of companies that visited and did process witht the college for my course - MCA, was th highest among all other universities offering the same course
The scenic beauty of UPES campus, is outstanding. 2-3 years will glide off beautifully and with very lovly memories

Dislikes

Some of the student crowd, which was just there because of scenery and addictions, was very irritating. Staying away from such people was a task

Placement Experience:

The best a college can provide in these financially difficulties, is provided by UPES. The number of companies this college brought, has out-ranked any other college/university providing MCA course. The highest was a 25 LPA package at Salesforce.

From Classroom to Campus Life

Likes

Teachers are well qualified and teaching method are excellent
Lectures are conducted daily,you doesn't feel u waste whole in campus
Campus are soo beautiful and very close to nature.

Dislikes

Time table are soo packed,it's feels like 9 to 5 job somedays.
Attendance are mandatory means 75 percentage attendance are mandatory otherwise u are not able to sit in exams
So much rules and regulations sometimes u feels you are in school.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall curriculum are good.But some time it's feels so hectic you alots of assignment date are submition of yours assignment, project reports, lab file. Even doesn't have enough time for preparing you exam and self study .

Fun and wonderful

Likes

College infrastructure is superb and wonderful
The food provided in cafeteria is also superb
There are special space for various sports

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me as this has high opportunities in coming future The frequency of paper is 4 in one year which include 2 mid exam and 2 end exam The paper are not very difficult not very easy

The truth

Likes

The classes run everyday and the professor are full of knowledge.
The building are big and neat and clean and the classes are also big enough.
And placement orientated classes also held in college.

Dislikes

The college is too much strict for the attendance

The education that the professor give to the students are according to the real world applications. The frequency and timings of exam along with the difficulty level is fair enough for the students.....

Uttaranchal University: A hub for academic excellence

Likes

Uttaranchal university offers a engaging campus life.
The classrooms are well equipped with modern teaching aids and the libraries have a vast collection of books and digital resources.

Dislikes

While the hostels are generally good, there is room for improvements in terms of maintenance and hygiene.

Placement Experience:

Studnets with 60% in 12th are eligible for most of the placements as there is a barrier of 60%, being from the IT they bought only sales companies for the students. Mostly startups companies were there.

Likes

The university is located in srinagar garhwal and there is many beautiful places you can visit nearby.
Campus life is good and the chauras campus is very beautiful.
Few teachers are very supportive and helps you in difficult situation if you consult them.

Dislikes

Delayed result is the main problem of this university.
No focus on practical knowledge. Labs not conducted properly.
Wrapping up of semester according to there need.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is not very advanced same as like other universities. The difficulty of exam level is not very high if you are a average student you can easily pass your examinations with excellent marks. There are 2 semesters per year and exams are based on the semesters.

Environment is too good , students are supportive

Not have much facilities washroom was not hygiene
Syllabus was not updated , classroom was not cleaned
Water is not clear for drink and many more things that I don't like

I have a BSc in computer science. So I want to do a masters in the technical field. So I pursuing a Master's in computer application. Student ratio between 95. Qualifications of the faculty mostly pursuing Ph.D. teachers which means assistant professors. Organized the exam from time to time by the examination department.

I applied for the graphic Era hill University Dehradun, which is one of the branch of our university but however the placement and curriculum was almost same that's why I choose the campus which is close and next to me. As of regections, I did not get rejection due to limited application for colleges. The admission is quite easy where you need to submit the documents like marksheet, medical certificate, transfer and migration certificate, and a sum of fee to get your confirmation on admission. There is 1500 registration fee to get your seats confirmed for the selected course. Well there is no specific criteria for cut-off....Read More

My College Experience

I had to choose this college as I was very late for an admission and this college was providing me a seat even after 4 months of admission date. I didn't apply for any other college as I was preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced. I was not rejected from any other college, I just didn't scored enough to get an admission. For admission in my college, they simply ask you some questions (interview sort of) and tell you the fees structure and then you can opt easily for your desired course.
