Overall, RIT is a very good college in this region. Infrastructure is good, the faculty is helpful, under good leadership. Management always concerns about the benefit of students.

For my post graduation, i wanted a college which is well known for its studies and also not too far from my city. I find myself lucky that RIT Roorkee is the place i got for my MCA. The study culture in RIT was wonderful and faculty there is also highly qualified and very professional.

The course curriculum was according to Uttarakhand Technical University. The core subjects for MCA was similar to B.Tech. In RIT, management is also concern about the special training of students that is the reason there are PDP sessions for students, the regular aptitude test is also there, group discussions are there.

YES. RIT give its students an opportunity to do the internship. But it depends on attendance and academic record of students. If you do not have any backlog you can go for the internship.

Placement office in RIT is very good. They have some very good contacts in different companies. They always ready to help students to get placed. They bring some big and small companies to the campus. The companies give opportunities to the talented students and offer very good salary package.

RIT celebrates many events on the college campus. There is a sports festival which lasts 10 days named SPORTECH. The cultural festival is also there which lasts for 8 days named as ANUGOONJ. A technical festival of 3 days is also the major event of RIT named as TECHNOMAX.

Fees are not too expensive of courses offered in RIT. For B.TECH the total fees are 3,83,200/- for MBA the total fees is 2,55,000/-, for MCA total fees is 1,60,000/-, for diploma 1,44,300/-. But according to the facilities RIT is providing the fees is not too much.

RIT providing lots of the scholarship on the meritorious basis. Apart from academic records RIT also providing Sports Quota, Army Quota, Women Quota, J&K Quota etc.

RIT is one of the most happening campuses in North India. Many events and extra activities are the main attraction of college. Labs are well furnished with all necessary needs like projectors, air conditions, backups etc. 2-3 technical exhibitions every year with cash prizes, debate competitions, speech competitions etc.

Both the hostels are inside the campus with all the necessary facilities like 24 hours electricity, 24 hours water supply, internet facilities etc. There is also a gym facility with the trainer. There is also special sports facilities for hostel students. Quality of mess food is world class. RIT management is very much concern about the food, the mess is giving to the students.

Exams are structured in such a way that students can prepare themselves for final exams without any special preparations. In RIT there are two sessional exams, many assignments, regular tests etc. The syllabus for first sessional exam includes 60% of the total syllabus and for second sessional it includes 100% syllabus. So before giving the semester exams a student already prepared the whole syllabus.

I got 83% marks in my graduation. I filled the registration form of RIT, i got a phone call from admission cell. Two days later i visited the campus, admission counselor of RIT gave me all the details about RIT and most importantly the scholarships RIT is providing. According to their criteria and my percentage i got 100% off on my tution fees as a scholarship. I submitted all the necessary documents and got admission in RIT.
