Remarks

The college is a great place to be in with excellent faculties and an amazing view the only downside is the fees is just a bit expensive other than that all is great and no ragging policy is just top knotch.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is greatly designed. We have Unit tests as well as assignments and sem exams. We have to give 2 unit tests and practical exams for each subject. Also assignment completion consists of marks.

Placement Experience

The college has a great placements team. They bring loads of companies to the college and provide students with opportunities to grab. No student is left unplaced obviously terms and conditions applied.

College Events

We have two main events one is Euphoria the other one is synergy. Euphoria is more like non technical which has events dance competition, singing completions, talent hunt and synergy is more like of technical one.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I feel the fee structure is expensive. It is around 1.4lacs per annum for 1st year. 1.3 lacs per annum for 2nd year and 1.2 lacs per annum for 3rd year. This is for me a direct second year student. I joined the college through diploma

Fees and Financial Aid

They do provide scholarship opportunities but not loan but they definitely provide you with time to arrange the money and the faculties help you with scholarship and other stuff. There is a special faculty appointed to handle scholarships.

Campus Life

There are lot of extra curricular activities along with points in the end the highest of them all wins a trophy. I've personally been a part of football team and I enjoy playing and earning points for my class. The points things makes the games more enjoying and much real like.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are. They've conducted various seminars in our college also many alumni placed in good companies try and bring their companies into the college for placements. Which helps the current year students.,

Admission

I got admission in Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering through merit list organized by government that is DTE through online cap process. My name appeared in the final list announced by DTE and this college was allotted to me.

Faculty

The faculty of college is very friendly and helpful. They make you feel like home and always ready to help. They are always helpful through whatsapp and provide resourceful material through it. They use moodle to give exam materials, assignments notes which is a fun and interactive way.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

1. i also applied to KJ Somaiya in vidyavihar and RAIT in navi mumbai and VIT vellore. i did not choose these colleges for the following reason: expensive fees and no affiliation with mumbai university, expensive and not well regarded, large batches in each class so issues in placements, 2. i did not get rejections from any college i applied to. 3. admission to my college can be done through CAP rounds or institute rounds. the eligibility depends on your mh-cet score. only mh-cet is accpeted and jee. but only mh-cet is given importance. there is also a 51% quota for chrisitian minority students...Read More

I was getting VJTI Mech and Civil but i wanted CSE or IT branch. I also got IT in DJ Sangvi and SPIT cllg but as i stay in Mulund-Thane area it is very far from me and travelling alone took 4 hrs of the day. After all these odds this cllg was best for me as it takes only 1.5 hrs of daily travel for me. Time is money u will realize this during ur engg. Cllg only accepts CET and JEE MAINS scores. If u want to get a CS branch in this cllg ur CET score must be around 96.8%ile or around 7000 rank in cet and in JEE MAINS ur percentile must be above 94%ile or 95%ile...Read More

You can get in fr crce either through jee or mht-cet. But you need to have Maharashtra state domicile if you are looking forward to take admission via mht cet. As the college is Christian minority college 51% of seats are reserved for Christian students. The cutoff vary with branch.
