College review

Our college faculty and study atmosphere is very decent but still there is lot to be done in areas like placements and extracurricular events. There should be a practical approach to the things we learn.

Aktu curriculum is a long one. It consist of much more working days in comparison with nits and iits.there will be 2 semester in each year. Each semester will consist of 2 unit tests and 1 semester exam.

Placement opportunity in our college is average and too is restricted to few branches like cs, it,ec. Yes two three companies have started recruiting student of cs and it branch for internship from past few years.it have provided a stipend of around 40,000.

There are various council in our college like literary sub council, fine arts and hobbies,cultural sub council etc various events like pace(sports) , hackathon(coding event), prabhanjan are organized under supervision.

Fee structure is decided by aktu for all colleges affiliated from it , and the fee is feasible for core branches but some self funded branches like information technology are quit expensive as compared to core branches.

Yes there is gov scholarship facilities for those who comes under minimum family income criteria. Family income criteria is less than 2 lacs per annum. And there is also a up government scheme under which if you have secured rank within 2000 in upsee you will be provided free laptops.

Labs are of good standard they have required instruments. We have one indore stadium , one basket ball court, one football ground and separate badminton court in each hostels.sporting event named pace held every year in our college.

Fee is quit modest for hostel accommodation but the quality of food is average.and 2 to 3 students have to live in one room which is not good from study point of view.in 1 year you have share room witb 2 and in 2 you have to share room with 3.

We have a strong allumini network, each year our college student secure good ranks in exams like gate , cat etc.they are in some good colleges like iims and iits. And they are very helpfull in providing inputs like how to prepare for competitive exams and how to approach company interviews.

You have to appear in upsee to get admission in various colleges affiliated to aktu.after the result will be declared there will be councelling of 2 to 4 rounds , based on your rank you will be allotted a seat in one of the various college affiliated to aktu.

Our college faculty is a blend of experienced and new Comer's both. They are quit strict about your presence in the class but they have good experience and knowledge which will not bore you in the class.
