Remarks

It is an ideal place for a middle class srudent to get good quality medical education. There is no compromise in academics inthe college. The college gives equal importance to extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is 4 and half years and one year internship. It is same as the curriculum prescribed by mcc. The fees for the course is 17 lakhs per annum and hostel fees are around 30,000 and mess fees is around 55,000.

Placement Experience

The college has a good pass percentage and all those who passed out are placed in various hospitals and as doctors the job opportunity never diminishes. The college provides compulsory one year internship as directed by imc and a decent stipend is also provided.

The college has a festival known as beats which is a 4 day programes which include all cultural events there is inter batch competition ineveryevent. The college alsoncelebrate all national festivals and a sports day is also celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees sturcture is a bit expensive as the mbbs fees in deemed university is very high but when compared to other deemed universities the fees structure is more tolerable.there are no hidden fees during the courses.

The college encourages students to take up research activities and also provide stipend for honest projects. The college also peovides student loan facilities with tie up with sbi bank.loans with decent interest are available.

Campus Life

There is competition on various literary and arts through out the year and a four day fest is also part of the literary competition. The campus has well equiped grounds and a swiming pool is also present for the students to utilise. There is a sports day to lrovide atheletic abilities.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel has basic facilities suchas hot water clean bathroom the cleanliness must be highlighted factor of the hostel. There is wifi facility available 24 hours electricity and proper security system ia also there.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are the most helpful people in the college. The proper mentor system is a plus point of this college.seniors helps in tackealing academic issues and also motivates us to aim higher. The college has a strong alumini associaytion as it is a very old college.

Admission

We should start preperations for neet exam and clear it wait for the allotments conducted by mcc this college comes under blde university it is a deemed university.once you are alloted in the mcc list you can come and join.

Faculty

Very strong faculty an ideal place to build your base as a doctor.every department has enough faculty. The department of physiology bio chemistry and anatomy are strong with proffesors who help every way to gain academic knowledge.

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.
