Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum of mbbs with anatomy, physiology and biochemistry are the main subjects in first year to be studied. The curriculum in general prepares for the process of becoming a doctor . The curriculum should also include extracurricular activities and sports more .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of college is 19lpa .Good college .There are some scholarships available but they are only for state domicile students.Other fees like hostel and mess fees are counted differently which varies has increment but the tuition fee do not have increment.

Campus Life

2

Campus life as of now is not enjoyable since there are no much of fest, concerts and activities. Some activities like culturals are do taken but that is limited to certain aspects . Library isn't accessible as of now but what I know is it's a good library with different varieties of books Sports ground is not bad playayble. Music club is there

Hostel Facilities

3

3sharing rooms are provided with common washrooms as of for 1st yr where it goes on changing for consecutive years. Mess is good with good taste of food and different varieties It is located inside the college campus only.Mess fees are 75000

Admission

I gave list of different colleges .But initially according to my marks I got allotted to this College in first round itself and hearing the reviews of this college made me to take an abrupt decision of confirming my admission here . I do wanted other colleges like KS Hegde Mangaluru according to last year cutoff I was getting that college and too had hope of getting it this time but luck was hard

Faculty

2

Faculty is different for each department. There are various teachers teaching number of different topics .The teachers are really approachable at times but medical is such a profession where the student has to perform best on his own and run behind teachers coz no teacher will care about what you are doing .The exams are conducted very strictly. The curriculum is vast with different IAs being conducted. Many students don't maintain the passing marks at start of the year since they're not equipped with the syllabus.

Night Life

1

Since this is a college situated in a little of village city area so there are no much cafeterias and places to visit There are some historical places but that's out of new genz already done visiting them . Not a safe place as compared to other cities outside the campus

There is no such special curriculum just i want to be a doctor so i chosed mbbs. It's a very good curriculum as we have both book knowledge and practical knowledge at same time as we have to go hospital in morning to see cases qnd at evening to learn about it. There is no such improvement is required. We don't have to give soo much exam but the syllabus we have to cover its not much

Course Curriculum Overview:

Same curriculum as the NMC is followed . In the beginning ears there wont be much exposure clinically like any other hospitals later on in 3rd amd 4th year there is more clinical exposure and patient interaction. According to me the exam level of 1st year is a bit tough as it is a changing phase from 12th to college and everything is new later on we get adjusted and find it easy and will understand how to phase the exam and how it is different from the previous exams of 11th or 12th . Only one exam will be for a academic year which includes the whole syllabus of that year

MBBS- passion and internal will power plays an important role in choosing this course. PASSION- because it is a noble job to do and satisfaction in this course is unmatchable because of patients interaction. WILL POWER- you may find this course hectic and the course duration is of 5.5 yesrs so it lengthy and you have to study a lot in this course.
