Remarks

Extra curricular activities should be taken place in order to develop the students knowledge. College syllabus must be revised and updated and added the recent issues and activities. Campus interviews must take in order to provide employment to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Curriculum is little olt. It must be revised and updated for every 3 or 4 years. Exam structure is pretty good but still in campus strictly conducting exams must take on. Overall curriculum and exam structure should be upgrade.

Placement Experience

2.5

There is no proper job opportunities provide by college. Very less concerned people are there. It should be developed more job opportunities and college interviews must take. Campus interview are taken very low. No concerned people are there to provide this.

College Events

1.5

Seminars relating to our subjects. Workshops. And other cultural events were taken. Though the encouragement was very less. Department has to look after the qualitative education rather then the quantitative education.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was based on the reservation and merit of the student. If you are under reserved category and have merit then your fee will be less then five thousand rupees. If you don't come under reservation and high merit then you have to pay more then ten thousand rupees.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no exact scholarships provided by college. Scholarships which are provided by Karnataka government will only exist in college. But there is no specific scholarships or study loan are provide by college.

Campus Life

2.5

There in no extra curricular activities were took. Only few of activities were taken. Cultural day. Annual day welcome day, ethnic day these were some of extra curricular activities were taken. Sports wise there is no proper encourage from department only students should take up on their own.

Hostel Facilities

2

Yes i am in hostel. Hostel felicitation was so good. Its convenient. Less then the two thousand repees of fee lets you stay whole month with good food with wife felicitation. Hostel has in a very calm and silent place.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were not so helpful. Though some were helped for our need. Some who were stayed with us were little helpful but not everyone. Some students who were seniors were so rude and unhelpful. But other department students are were helpful too.

Admission

We have to apply for admission. According to our marks regarding our subject they announce merit list. Then the required changes can be made by students. Later on final list will be given. Then they will announce a cancelling date. We have to attend counselling with all the required original documents. According to our merit and reservation according to cast we will get seat.

Faculty

1.5

Faculties of the department were not so qualitative. Only few were eminent and well studied and graduated but few must have to develop their teaching quality. Some are very worse in the department.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. Followed by a mini project and a major project under a professor of interest. Stem cell biology always intrigued me and this course offered exactly what I want. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.
