Remarks

Yeah, there are positive and negative comments regarding my college the positive side is that the college has got a vibrant panel of faculties and the facilities as far concerned about academics is good. And negative is the college doesnt give much importance to extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good and exam structure is also good there is 2 internal exams in a semester and a university xam which is counted in 100. The conducting of the examinations are done in a proper way.

Placement Experience

Placements and job oppurtunities are going well in the college. And most of the companies which visit our college for placements are tcs, ibm, wipro, infosys etc. And only small amount of core companies come to the college for placements.

College Events

The events celebrated in the college are arts fest, tech fest, sports day, teachers day, onam celebration, etc. The students get a stage to express their qualities infront of others. They give good oppurtunities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible. No other colleges in kerala gives a fee structure like our college does. If a student has more than 95 percentage marks in maths in state syllabus is able to study an year at 8500 rupees.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college offers the best scholarship than other college in kerala. If a student has secured more than 95 percentage in maths in his higher secondary xam. He is able to study for rs 8500 and students are given a lot of opportunities.

Campus Life

Yeah, coming to extra curricular activities labs and sports are available in our college. Our college has every lab in each department and also our college has a big ground but it is not properly maintained.

Hostel Facilities

Ya, I am a hostler and the facilities in the hostel is satisfactory. The hostel has got good infrastructure, mess is very good and quality food is being served to us.a gymnasium is available in the down floor.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah, our college has got an alumni network and it is very helpful in funding for some of the projects and etc. They are all well placed in renowned companies and earning good salary. They are an asset for our institution.

Admission

By attending kerala engineering entrance examination and scoring good rank in the entrance exam I got selected into this college in the third allotement and I got admission through different procedures such as submitting my grade card and all.

Faculty

The faculties in the college is well qualified. All the proffesors taking classes in the college are mtech holders from renowned nit's or iit's. Their attitude towards the students are also satisfactory.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.
