Remarks

Faculties are good and qualified. We get full freedom. But the management is not at all providing money for the maintenance of the building or for making a student friendly atmosphere. They treat the college as second category.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course duration is very short and it is very tight schedule to complete the entire syllabus. There are no extra curricular activities. Students are facing very much stress in the current academic system.

Placement Experience

2

There are no placements provided by the college as described. Lack of an effective placement cell. College does not provide internship and we go to private firms in the state. We always attend stipendless internships.

College Events

1.5

The major events are arts fest (Tarang) and techno-cultural fest(Ekathra) conducted in even sem. Except that onam celebration, science day celebration, engineers day. Etc are conducted. Small events are also conducted such as workshops or seminars.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive, always demanding so much money as maintenance charge, common fine. Etc but never use it for any betterment activities. The fee structure in Merit is feasible to all. But the management fees and NRI fees are very expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee waiver for students who pass all the subjects (Got all pass). The merit fees is lesser than that of the fees in management and NRI quotas. For minority students there is scholarships in every year, but it is offered by the government and not by the college.

Campus Life

1.5

There are no extra curricular activities. The main problem is that the college authorities doesn't give importance to extra curricular activities. Mechanical batch does not have FM LAB. The facilities haven't arranged yet. Sports materials are provided. But there is not a good ground and no faculties for physical education.

Hostel Facilities

4

No, I haven't opted for hostel, but the hostel facilities are not at all bad. At the earlier time there was no hostel for boys because the college was women's. After 2015, the college become mixed and then hostel for boys started. Now the hostelers are satisfied to an extent.

Alumni/Alumna

Money is collected from caution deposit for alumni. But there is no alumni association. Most of all are placed in private firms. The college does not conduct any reunions or alumni functions, so they are not doing anything for the college.

Admission

I had written kerala engineering entrance (KEAM ) exam of 2016. But at that time I decided to go for BA english and I got admission. Then I decided to join Btech, and I got admission under management quota.

Faculty

4

Faculties are well educated and qualified as per the regulations of All india council for technical education. Majority are student friendly and always encourage students to express their abilities. Some exceptions are there.

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
