I am pursuing mechanical engineering college provides ample of opportunity to gain industrial knowledge. College has been very helpful for the startup companies. College provided in campus space and also mentors the company.

Highest placement was for 29lpa by amazon this year. Many mncs like bosch, Microsoft, Mercedes visit our college for campus placements ranging from 6-10 lpa and above. Most of the placements are from it based companies.

Many events are celebrated during the academic year. In the odd semester there are all cultural and sports competitions held. In even semester college conducts its annual tech fest "pleiadis". There are also many other small events held.

Feasible, Merit seat's fee is set by government. May vary every year. For my year of joining it was 23000 for unaided seat.

I haven't applied for any loans. There is no specific scholarship from college. Students apply for scholarship of various kind like vidhyasiri, jsw ntpcl etc. All these have to go through the college office.

Hostels are good. Bit old but they are very well maintained. There no better food available nearby than the hostel. I ve staying since 2 years and there's been no health issues. The hostel staff are always available for any help.

Seniors are very friendly. And have been very helpful in guidance. Alumni network is maintained for long periods. Alumni are also hooked up on LinkedIn which makes it much easier to have good networking.

I got admitted to this college through kcet (karnataka common entrance test). U can also get admitted through comedk. Even if in karnataka. Students from other states must apply through comedk. There are also seats available from management quota, this works on first come first serve.

Most of the faculty are friendly. And very supportive. Feasible lecture hours. Faculty is more focused on applications of concepts to real time than just teaching. This is very helpful for understanding the concepts and also exam point of view.
