College review

The college is very nice and well disciplined. There is no form of ragging carried out. The students also have a mentor who can guide them if they have any problems. There is also service for emergency medical assistance and fire brigade.

The course is followed as per the guidelines given by Mumbai University. The exact paper pattern and portion is followed. Exams are conducted in 2 parts , firstly two class tests are conducted and then later the final board exam. Practicals are also conducted in 2 parts , first a mock practical to give practice and then the actual practical exam.

There is a placement office which conducted the activities of placements. The placement officers contact the companies which are in need of employees and the interviews are conducted. The percentage of students placed in computer branch was near about 85% and the average salary for them was around 4lakhs , which is pretty good considering a starter. The lowest offer was for 2lakhs per annum and the highest was of 16lakhs per annum.

The college celebrates a grand event once every year called praxis. It consists of various fun activities and also competitions related to the field of study. Various coding competitions and workshops are conducted. Lan gaming events and cultural events are conducted which bring the fun aspect.

Fee structure is feasible considering the services a student can get. The students who have a family income less than 8lakhs get a compensation on the exam fee. Also students who have family income less than 2lakhs can opt for tution fee waiver scheme.

The college offers a scholarship for students who have annual income lesser than 2 lakhs. The students have to submit their previous marksheets and if they deserve the scholarship , they are given the payment in cheque of RS 8000 by the college. Other scholarships like ebc can also be applied for by asking for the information in the office.

Extracurricular activities and sports are conducted once a year in the praxis event. Various outdoor sports like cricket , football and kabaddi are played. There is a indoor gaming room which contains carton boards , tennis tables and chess boards for playing when students have free time. All the labs are well maintained with the latest technologies and a high speed internet connection. A printer is made available for students. Also the labs are air conditioned.

Alumini cell consists of members who have passed out from the college. They conduct annual meets and events. The alumini commity members conduct workshops on their experience in the industry and guide the current students giving them an idea of what the industry requires.

If you're a fresher, the admission is given on the basis of 12th cet results. The merit list is prepared and admission is given accordingly. If you want to take admission in direct second year , then your final year diploma results are taken into consideration and merit list is prepared and admission is given accordingly.

The faculty is really nice and experienced for computer branch. The teachers are really active and share all the details with students regarding study material. Students can ask for doubts and extra lectures if the portion is not covered and teachers arrange it accordingly.
