College review

The college has all those facilities a student wants. Now it's a student's responsibility to take help from this facility. Sometimes some say course work is very hectic, but in my personal opinion that should be as we are in India's best college, people have hope from us. We are the ones who is one who can change the system for the better and the best society.

There are 5 courses but I want to do master's only in Electronic Systems and I chose this branch only. Exam structure was like 20% marks for an assignment, 20% marks for 4 quizzes out of 5 considered, 20% mid Semester, 20% course project, and last 20% for end semester. These numbers vary sometimes from professor to professor.

Yes, I used to get a stipend in the whole course of 12400 first year, 13400 second year, and last year I got 14400 ?. In my branch, there was 100 % placement. From Google to Samsung, Intel, Micron, Qualcomm, Analog Devices, Texas instruments, many more companies came for the chip design engineers.

Yeah, there are used to be many events every weekend. But the most famous is Mood Indigo I.e. culture festival and Techfest I.e. technical festival. These both events are Aisa's largest college events. In mood Indigo ratio of girl and boys become 1:1, so many girls and boys used to come to this cult festival.

The fee structure was very feasible. I used to get a stipend so I paid my feelings from the stipend. I didn't ask for money from my parents and even I didn't take an education loan. But as I was in IIT any bank was ready to provide education loans.

As I told you before, every Master's or Ph.D. student used to get a stipend. Some from MHRD, some from Institute, or some from the project fund. And if you are in IIT every bank ready to provide you education loan.

Labs were equipped with the latest types of equipment. If we ask something professors were ready to provide it for research purposes. Most of the lab opened 24 hours. On-campus almost all the sports facilities were present with a good number of items. The swimming pool was international size with the best coach.

Yes, I opted for the college hostel. First 2 years I got a shared room, which I shared that room with one more person. Last year I got a single room. In every hostel, there are very good facilities for playing like football, badminton, basketball, board games. Other than this there was a music room, laundry, gym many more things for enjoyment.

IIT alumni network is very strong and this helps a lot. Senior students always guided me for my best. They really improved my technical knowledge and social interaction. Still, if someone wants to change his or her job this network helps a lot for referring.

I qualified GATE entrance exam with 606 ranks in the ECE branch, I filled admissions for the IIT Bombay, I got called from IIT Bombay for written exam and interview, I pass this written exam and got selected for master's program.

The faculty has very good technical knowledge. They gave the best of the best assignment and project and conduct very good quality exams. No bias and no cheating was I never faced there. Sometimes they also support if any student did something overwhelming.
