Remarks

The director of the college is a dictator and she is also biased. This sometimes affects the fun that you expect to have in a college but still it is adjustable. The securities of the college acts (majorly due to the pressure from the above said director) like they control the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is just average as compared to the education system provided in other countries.practical knowledge and workshops provided are very scarce.there are three internal exams for each semester and one university exam at the end of it.

Placement Experience

3

The placements and job opportunities have improved majorly after i graduated. Now there are good companies coming for recruiting the students.our college prefers only indian companies to recruit the students.there is no internship program provided by the college.

College Events

2.5

Arts fest technical fest called colloquium inter-collegiate fest called illuminati mcet trophy for basketball onam men's hostel day called agronious ladies's hostel day called femeterna college day technical fest for each branch

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible for merit students. For the management and nri quota it is okay if you are from a middle class family. As the fee structure is low they make up for it in the fines they deduct for everything from using a toilet not alloted to you to taking a bath after the designated time.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is fee waiver for two students in a class according to the mark they obtained in 12th.there is also fee waivers for the economically backward students studying there. The government pays for the hostel facilities of such students.

Campus Life

4

Extracurricular activities are okay.basketball is the only sport that dominates the college. There are also other sports played. Labs in the college is good compared to other colleges in nearby areas. They provide every equipment mentioned in the curriculum.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel infrastructure - 7/10 hostel food- 5/10 hostel faculty- 9/10 the quality of hostel food is inversely proportional to the amount of time you have spent in the hostel.when you come in as a fresher the quality is extraordinary.then it slowly starts to decrease till it hits rock bottom.it again increases as the next batch of freshers come in.it then continues as a cycle.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network in the college is very weak. Senior students come to the college only to clear their backpapers. So it doesn't help the students currently studying in the college. But some seniors come frequently to the college to meet their juniors.

Admission

I wrote the kerala entrance examination and was allocated a seat for the selected course in this college by the chief of examiners through a list. Then you have to visit the college and complete your admission there.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is satisfactory. They are not extraordinary as compared to the faculties provided in government colleges across kerala. Some of them are too biased and that poses a real problem when it comes to your internal mark awarded by them.

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
