Remarks

VIT is a place to learn, a chance to grow. As they say, they follow it. The student is exposed to the real world /practical examples.

Entrance Preview

I have applied for VITMEE. I got rank around 3000. I have opted for Communication Engineering as my specialization in M.Tech. I have opted for this because this course is very rare and not found in many colleges/Universities. I have an immense interest to know how communication happens in this world.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is designed in such a way that, the student will be ready to face all the stress in the corporate world. Our management tries to follow the curriculum of renowned universities like MIT, Stanford, and IIT's. We have two slots, which we can choose any of the slots of our choice and attend the classes.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, MY college provides Internship Opportunities. Currently, I'm working at Robert Bosch ( RBEI) as an intern. They are providing a stipend of 15, 000/- The so-called dream companies like INTEL, TI, CISCO, QUALCOMM, HONEYWELL, ROBERT BOSCH, HP, ALCATEL, ATMEL, NETAPP, etc come to our college.

Placement Experience

4

Whatever you study all these years, Finally we have to attend the bulk recruiter companies like TCS, CTS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE. They are the heart of VIT. If students are not placed in any of these companies, We can lose our hopes of getting placed. So, Be careful and try to get into at least one of these companies. B.Techs have many opportunities compared to M.Techs. They get placements throughout the year.

College Events

4.5

Events in VIT, Hahaha. Wat, not We celebrate for every festival. VIT is a place where all parts of INDIANS have a place to study. We mingle with different region people, different religions, etc. We celebrate all festivals. Other than these we have amphy theatres in our university. We have events in the Amphy theatre every Friday evening.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of VIT is not much feasible. To get quality we have to spend more in every aspect of our life. So to get quality education we have to spend more on VIT. The hostel fee also differs according to different categories. We have two bed, three bed, four bed, five bed six bed-sharing in a hostel and the fee differs accordingly.

Fees and Financial Aid

They give a scholarship of Rs4000/- for GATE qualifiers. They help the students by providing a loan facility. They give the sheet of estimated charges in VIT till we leave the college and give us. We can show that to the bank and can avail of the loan from the bank.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio is good. We do not have any gender partiality in the university. Everyone has their importance. Extracurricular activities are very good at VIT, But first, we shud be very good in Academics to participate in extracurricular activities. Sports are not much concentrated on our campus, Students do not have time to complete their research works, so no one will be ready to play.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostels in Chennai are not up to the mark of Vellore. They have very strict rules for girls as well as boys. Hostel life in VIT-Chennai is miserable. We cannot enjoy much in the hostel rooms.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni networks are very helpful. The alumni students come to the campus and give suggestions, ideas, advice to the students during the placements season.

Exam Structure

Lab sessions are quite good and relaxing. The lab exam schedule is completely in the hands of your instructor. If your lab instructor is very good, your lab sessions will be very good.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the university are highly qualified with Ph.D.'s and pursuing Ph.D.'s. They are knowledgeable and always feel cherish to spend time with students. They support the students in their Research and Publications. The System is completely transparent
