Remarks

PROS are that the theoretical knowledge is good and the faculty is young so they understand us well and students have better understanding with them. CONS are that the college is bit strict and should give some freedom to students and sports facility and practical labs facility should be better.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My course was Btech mechanical engineer so the requirement was to get some practical knowledge with the theoretical knowledge. So we got good theoretical knowledge but didn't got much practical knowledge. They take monthly exams at the end of month which prepare well for finals.

Placement Experience

3.5

My college is provides decent placement, not alot of students gets placed but still better then many other colleges. they give some options for internship in foreign countries but for that a person have to give quite some amount.

College Events

3

Our college celebrate lots of festivals and events like an Event on Engineering day, and festivals like Lohri and Independence days as well and they have some events like technical event and annual festival and Fresher's party as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is per semester, student have to give fees one month before the start date of the semester exam, fees is given in advance and and you can write an application to delay your fees. And fees is decent, the amount is not equal to most of the colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan Facility is good that is provided from college, they give loan Facility from many national banks so you can easily approach the banks and you don't need much paperwork. Scholarship ship is given to some bright students.

Campus Life

4

As I said that practical knowledge is not much as compared to other colleges or as compared to theoretical knowledge but it's decent so not much complaint or not much good things to say about that. It's same with sports not much but decent and only cricket is given importance, they don't give much importance to other sports.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network or connection with senior students is not much because our college is very new, we were the second or maybe third batch to pass out so there were very few seniors to come contact with so not much to say about that.

Admission

I went there and filled my form and then I waited for meril list. When my name came then I went there and gave my advance admission fees and then right before the start of the course I gave full first semester fees.

Faculty

4

As I said that we got good theoretical knowledge so the faculty is young and gives us good examples for us to understand the topics. They treat us like friends and understand us well. So the faculty is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
